Surprise

~~Your Pov~~

You're surprised when you wake up and find Slenderman absent from bed, a soft hum leaving you as you glance at the clock. It's nine already, whoops. You can't smell breakfast like usual, making you wonder. Where could Slender be? You get ready for the day and open the door to the bedroom, pausing when you see a bunch of different colored flower petals on the floor. You kneel down to inspect a petal, finding it to be a carnation. You straighten back up and follow the path. Balloons decorate the railings as you follow the trail of petal down the stairs. The trail leads you to the back door of the mansion, the door decorated with a bunch of different drawings that make you unable to see what's outside waiting for you.

You open the door and step out onto the patio and then into the yard, stopping short as your eyes widen in surprise. A huge banner is set up with the words "HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY MOM!" You lower your gaze from the banner and find everyone present in the yard. A table is stacked high with presents and another stocked with all of your favorite foods

"G-Guys.....," You trail off as your voice cracks, unable to stop the tears that stream down your cheeks. "Thank you."

"Happy Mother's Day!" Everyone shouts together, relieved when Slender is suddenly there to catch you as your legs grow weak and buckle.

"Careful there. Could you imagine fitting all of us in a hospital if you are injured," He teases, helping steady you.

"Please, I want a hug from everyone," You breathe out.

Your head spins with happiness as you make a point to hug everyone. Presents come next, absolutely blown away by all the gifts everyone had gotten you. It's a wide array of things and you know all of them were chosen by the heart. You never thought you'd get this lucky in your life. You're not sure if it's on purpose but Sally is last to go, shocked when she presents her painting for you. Your heart soars and aches at the same time as memories of Mother's Day past shoot through your mind. You can't believe she remembered her tradition for you.

"It's not like when I was smaller," She starts, looking up at you as you shush her.

"I know baby. I know. You've grown so much and you were always artistic. I'm so proud of you for not stopping it when everything happened. You are amazing Sally. Thank you," You tell her, pulling her into a hug.

"I love you," Sally sniffles softly.

"I love you too," You breathe back.

"There's one more present," She says, pulling back and wiping at her eyes.

"But I've gotten something from everyone?" You tell her in confusion, getting back to your feet.

"You're getting one more! It's from all of us together," Sally chirps, returning to the crowd that surrounds you.

"I hope you like it," Jane says, stepping forward with stack of papers.

"It's ridiculous but it's for you so I had to participate," Jeff grumbles softly.

"You can never go back," Laughing Jack giggles manically. "We've got you now."

"Can't start the game over after this," Ben teases ominously.

"What in the world did you guys do?" You breathe, your hands trembling as Jane hands you the stack of papers.

"It's not 'official' like human ones are but we made it as accurate as we could to the real thing. There's one for each of us 'kids'," Eyeless Jack chuckles softly.

Slender takes the stack of papers from you so you can read the top one.
