~~Your Pov~~

"Sally! Slow down!" You laugh as she runs ahead of you.

"Come on mommy! You're being a slowpoke!" Sally calls, looking back to wave at you with a grin.

You huff and hurry after your little girl up the tall hill where Slender is waiting with a picnic. He sent you and Sally on a scavenger hunt for the day with a picnic at the end of the trail along with a prize at the end. Sally makes it to the top, excitedly jumping up and down as she waits for you to catch up. You don't mind the exercise, but you've been on your feet all day with the scavenger hunt and you really just want to sit down.

"I guess Sally wins the grand prize," Slender teases when you finally make it up the hill, earning a glare from you. "I suspected you would be faster considering your new powers."

"You run around all day and then talk to me about powers," You huff back, plopping yourself on the ground with a groan. "My feet hurt."

"I'll massage them tonight," Slender chuckles, him and Sally plopping down on the ground as well. "I do hope you're hungry."

"Starving!" Sally chirps, Slender helping lay out the food with Sally.

The three of you eat together and enjoy the warmth of the sun as it begins to set in the distance. When you've all had your fill you just enjoy watching Slender and Sally run around playing together. You can't help but smile, enjoying the comfortable atmosphere. It's been like this for two months. Nothing but joy and peace in the mansion everywhere you go. Slender and his brothers have been helping you get used to your new powers, the vines you inherited often making an appearance around you like tendrils. They don't always listen to you but don't mind their presence either.

"You look like you have something on your mind," Slender hums as he plops down beside you, Sally having decided that running up the hill and rolling down it was a fun idea.

"You mentioned other places in the forest where you've used your powers. I think I'm ready to expand my abilities more," You tell him, smiling when he lays down and places his head in your lap.

"The magic you can control is growing so it would only make sense," He chuckles softly. "Then that will be our plan for tomorrow. Unless you're busy?"

"Everyone is actually on break," You laugh, leaning down and giving Slender a kiss.

Some of the younger pastas decided they wanted to go to school. Some decided on a public school in their human forms while others have opted for homeschooling. You take care of most of the homeschooling and homework which keeps you busy when you're not doing house chores. Everyone seems to be enjoying their time going to school. You expected Ben and Jeff to complain more but they had both opted for homeschooling. They need your help on occasion but for the most part they're doing really well. You couldn't be prouder of them.

"How long is the break?" Slender asks as you begin to gently massage his shoulders, letting out a content sigh as he relaxes against you.

"It's for a week. Why?" You ask him, looking down to where his eyes would be.

"Want to get away for a couple days? Just me and you. We haven't been able to be alone for a while," He hums softly. "I have a small cabin by the lake. I usually used it for my heats so we'll be nice and alone."

"Which means you can scream all you want," You purr softly, squealing when Slender suddenly sits up and gets you pinned to the ground.

"Me scream? Darling, I think it's the other way around," He purrs. pinning your hands above your head.
