Get Away

~~Slender's Pov~~

"I half expected you to decide and stay," He teases when the two of you finally arrive at the cabin.

"Hey! I'm excited to be here," You huff as you set down your suitcase. "If you're going to be mean all I'm doing is reading this whole vacation."

"I can be annoying," He points out, chuckling when you roll your eyes. "I'm kidding. No offense, you look exhausted."

"I am exhausted," You admit as you kick off your shoes and then plopping on the bed.

"I keep telling you to take it easy Y/N. Everyone appreciates everything you do, but we don't want you completely burned out," He says, coming to sit next to you.

"I know.....," You mumble, fidgeting with your hands.

"It's just?" He presses gently.

"I don't want to disappoint them. I want to be the best mom I can be to all of them and I'm scared I won't mice up to their expectations. I don't want to mess everything up and make them all hate me," You explain to him. "I don't want to disappoint you."

"Oh darling," He sighs, guiding you to look at him, his heart aching at your tears. "You can never disappoint any of us."

"It's like all of this is a dream and I don't want to wake up. How could I possibly deserve all of you after losing Sally. I don't deserve to have her back! I don't deserve any of this. I've done nothing for it," You hiccup, leaning your head into his hand. "I don't want it to be taken away."

"Y/N," He says, gently grabbing your hand and pressing it to his chest. "Do you feel it? That's my heartbeat and it's real. The feel of my suit beneath your fingers is real. The love me and everyone else has for you is real. It's not a dream. More like a dream come true."

He 'smiles' when you let out a soft giggle at this, leaning down and giving you a gentle kiss.

"It's okay to be afraid. I'm afraid every day. I found my soulmate but I swear I'm dreaming. The mansion is running better than ever and everyone is the happiest I've seen them in a long time. They adore you so much," He chuckles softly. "I'm a little jealous until I get you all to myself and I'm reminded why they adore you so much. Why I adore you so much."

"I want to be the best mom ever to them. I want to be the best partner to you! I don't want this dream to end," You smile softly.

"And it won't. Not if I have anything to say about it. Zalgo has been dormant for a while, but should he come back you're not powerless against him. Plus, you have all of us. That demon will have to go through hell getting through," He tells you.

"I love you," You tell him.

"I love you too," He says. "Not to change the subject drastically, I have a hot tub. Nothing better for relax with."

He's relieved when your eyes light up and you smile at him. You're just so perfect. He could watch you all day. He gets changed with you and then shows you the hot tub, sighing in delight as he sinks down into the hot water. When you've been in for a couple minutes he reaches out and pulls you into his lap. His hands gently work out the knots in your shoulders and back, letting you slump back against him when he's done.

"This is so nice. Why doesn't the mansion have one? That and a pool?" You ask him.

"It's messy and hard to keep up with. Were in the middle of the forest remember," He chuckles softly.

"What about indoor ones?" You ask. "That would be awesome!"

"The forest can take us anywhere in the world. We don't need one there," He points out, laughing when you pout.
