(Happy 4th from my end of the world! Please enjoy an early and much wanted chapter!)
~~Sally's Pov~~
She slept in mommy and daddy's bed last night but much to her surprise she didn't have any nightmares. Usually she does after thinking and talking about when she died and everything that happened around it. Her brain just replays the memories in her sleep and daddy spends all night doing stuff with her while she can't sleep. She looks over at you as you fold the laundry and hum along to whatever playlist you have on your phone. Everyone was kind of avoiding you because you have a very murderous aura about you. She thinks they're all afraid they'll do the one thing that makes you snap. You've been busy with house chores all day anyway, but she thinks you were hoping some of the pastas would stop to talk.
She can't help but be amused by the whole situation. You're not mad at any of them. You're mad at her biological bad dude. She doesn't even want to call him her father. She can't wait to kill him with you. It'll be your first time killing and she gets the revenge she's wanted all these years. She hums along with you as she plays with her pony figurines. Daddy is probably out preparing for tonight or avoiding everyone because he's as mad as you are about the whole thing. Daddy is more likely to be the one to snap.
"Hey...uh, mom?" Jeff is the first one brave enough to approach you. She was suspecting one of the girls would do it first. Huh. Her fellow pastas are always surprising her.
"Yes?" You ask, pausing your music and turning to Jeff. You don't sound angry. She can feel your aura. It's still very murderous.
"Umm, we know you like getting the chores done and all but you promised you'd play that new card game with us," Jeff explains, his eyes darting around.
"Oh my Lucifer!" You gasp, dropping the folded shirt in your hands. "I did didn't I?! I'm so sorry!"
"I-It's okay! If you're too busy.....," Jeff trails off, glancing at the half empty laundry basket.
"I could use a break," You declares. "I'll meet you downstairs."
"I'll tell the others!" Jeff declares, his grin seeming to stretch wider before he disappears.
"Is it that bad?" You ask her, earning a giggle from her.
"You have a very murderous aura today," She smiles, holding her arms out to you. "But I know why."
"I won't discuss it with anyone unless you'd like me to," You tell her, scooping her into your arms and heading downstairs.
"It's okay. If they ask you can tell them," Sally assures you. "I'm sure they're curious."
"I'm sure you're right," You agree. Several pastas are gathered in a circle on the floor waiting for you.
She settles beside you and listens to the rules of the game, everyone relaxing when you do. The game is simple enough and she forgets about tonight's event for a little while as she has fun with you and the others.
"HAHA! I win!" You declare with a grin, everyone groaning.
"You've played this before," Ben huffs back.
"I just learned about this game with all of you!" You snort with laughter. "I just got lucky today."
"Sally. Y/N," Slender calls their names as he enters the living room. "Ready?"
Her eyes light up and she wastes no time setting down her cards and running over to her daddy. He scoops her into his arms and they both look at you and everyone's confused faces.
"I'll be back. Keep practicing and you might beat me next time," You tease as you get to your feet.
"No fair! Why do only you three get to go?" Jeff questions with a pout. "Guess we know who the favorite is."
