'Beffy...' The familiar voice says causing her to smile as she holds the phone against her ear with one hand while using the other to keep Piper cradled against her chest.
'Leah, everything okay?' She asks glancing down at the baby in her arms.
'I'm bored. What are you up to today? I'm assuming Viv is back at training?'
'You assume correctly. I don't really have any plans set in stone. I think I'm gonna take Piper and Myle into training to see the girls for a bit.'
'Can I come?'
'Absolutely not. You had surgery like a week ago, Le. If I take you into training Wally will kill me.'
'Oh come on, Beth... I'm so bored and I've just been lying in bed or lying on the sofa and I just- I need a change of scenery. In fact I might actually just go without you, I could probably get a cab.' Sighing Beth shakes her head and glances over at Myle who is running around the back garden.
'I just need to finish packing the baby bag and then I'll be leaving. I can be at your house in fifteen minutes... I swear to god I do not condone this behaviour, I'm just making sure you don't try to make your own way there.'
'I love you, Beffy... See you in fifteen.'
'See you soon, Le.' Beth says before ending the call. Placing her phone down on the counter, she adjusts Piper in her arms and lets out a small sigh.
'Your auntie Wally is going to absolutely kill me, Piper.' Beth mumbles shaking her head. She makes her way over and places the baby in her moses basket before moving on to finish packing everything she might need for an afternoon out with the baby.

'Manage?' Beth asks as she watches Leah open the passenger door and slowly begin to climb in.
'Mm...' Leah mumbles.
'Are you sure this is a good idea, Le... You still look like you're in pain; we could just go up to yours and spend the afternoon together.' Beth suggests causing the blonde to shake her head.
'No, I just- Some ways I move I still feel a bit tender but I need out. I need fresh air and to see different faces.' Leah replies closing the door and securing her seatbelt.
'Does Wally know you're coming?' Beth asks and Leah shakes her head.
'Of course not, she would've told me what a stupid idea it was and tried to talk me out of it... Does Viv know you're coming?' Leah asks.
'Are you kidding? I think Viv would have me and Piper wrapped up in cotton wool if she could.' Beth replies shaking her head as she begins the short drive to London Colney.
'How's our little PJ doing?' Leah asks glancing over her shoulder at the infant's reflection in the mirror on the backseat.
'She's doing good. Eating and sleeping like a champ... It's been an adjustment with Viv going back to training because we had gotten into such a good little routine but we'll figure it out I'm sure.' Beth replies and Leah nods her head.
'And how is Myle adjusting to having a baby around?' Leah asks.
'She's doing really well actually... I was a bit worried that she'd be jealous because she has been our baby but she's great. When Piper is in the moses basket in the lounge, Myle just lies at as if she's protecting her. It's the sweetest thing.' Beth replies smiling.
'Have you thought about when you'll return to training? Obviously it's not something you want to rush.' Leah says and Beth nods her head.
'I think after the international break. I will obviously need to get cleared by my doctor and then I am going to need a hell of a lot of training before I'm match fit because honestly, pregnancy kicks your ass but I do miss it... Don't get me wrong, I love being a mum and I love being at home with her just snuggling but I do miss being on the pitch with you guys.' Beth admits.
