Today is a very important day. It's the first day of my highschool. After graduating middle school, i got transferred to Dohwan highschool in Daegu for further studies.
Daegu is new for me. Ofc there are some relatives of mine who live here, but personally i have never been to Daegu before. Dohwan highschool is a popular elite school known all over South Korea. I wanted to live an independent normal life in a new city even if it means becoming a 'commoner'. But my parents are too stubborn, which is why a 'commoner' like me is here, in an expensive elite school from one of the biggest cities in sk... "sigh"

Before starting the story, let me introduce y'all to a system in this school. There are two types of students who study here- 1) rich kids from rich families who can enter with the help of money, 2) poor kids from poor family a.k.a commoners who manage to get into school by scoring top scores in entrance exam.
There is always internalised discrimination in such elite schools.. rich kids get more opportunities whereas poor kids are discriminated
You must be wondering in which category does our mc Kim Taehyung belongs- well the answer is- both. He could have easily gotten into the highschool with the huge wealth he owns but for some reason, he decided to enter as a commoner. However being a commoner in an elite school is not easy, especially when you have no experience of being one. Taehyung : "ok I'm ready! I somehow managed to look like normal poor kid, this will surely work"
(Tae says this while adjusting his nerdy hairstyle. He has adopted a new look which includes a dull hairstyle and nerdy glasses to make himself less attractive)
Tae : "I wish I could reduce my height too.. i just don't wanna stand out and live a normal highschool life.. Well, i better hurry now!"
(He leaves for the school on a bicycle, ofc he could have used car but you-know-the-reason...)
(At the entrance, as he stares at the massive yet beautiful building of the school)

Tae : "Wow how unexpected! it's so HUGE, though not as big as my previous one but this might be second biggest in the country after my previous-"
??? : "Get out of my way loser!"
(someone bumps into Tae)
Tae : "-but you were the one who bumped into me... are you dumb?"
ohh i shouldn't have said that.. i shouldn't be arrogant cuz rn im just a normal poor kid. She looks like a rich spoiled brat, not to mention the way she's looking at me. This might not be a good beginning for me... Help me lord!
