The blazing Sumeru sun caused the Inazuman general to sweat, putting him more on edge as he tried to evade the head of Yae Publishing House.

"Why of all times to come to Sumeru did she have to be here when I was?" Gorou looked around, paranoid that the notorious Head of Narukami Shrine was hot on his tail.

Fear taking the better of him, the brunette took off running as he glanced back every few steps.

Unfortunately, his paranoia ever accounted for anyone conducting their business and he ran into a figure at full force.

"Oh my archons I am so sorry!" He profusely apologised, ears folded against his hair in remorse.

"Oh, it's fine. You seem to be in a hurry with how hard you bumped into me." The stranger spoke, one of his ears flicking as he spoke. "What has you in such a hurry?"

"I'm trying to make sure a certain m
someone doesn't see me." The geo user's eyes darted around as he ensured he wasn't being watched. "I'm here from Inazuma and I ran into someone who I would rather not have to interact with."

"Hm...I may be able to help you. What do they look like?"

The Inazuman went on to describe the very person he was avoiding, his new companion listening intently as he analysed their surroundings for anyone that matched the description.

"I've never met anyone that matches that description but from the sound of it she's likely to come to Sumeru City at some point. Follow me." The dendro user called.

"I don't even know your name!" Gorou protested.

"Oh, my bad. The name's Tighnari, I'm a Forest Watcher and I live in Gandharva Ville." He introduced himself. "Which happens to be exactly where we're headed. It's out of the way of the city and tourists rarely ever pass by." With that, the botanist began to walk away.

"I'm Gorou, general of Watatsumi Island in Inazuma." The brunet said, following after his new acquaintance.

"Hm, good to know." Tighnari said, navigating the forest and making sure the foreign general was not too far behind him.

The pair spent the remaining journey in silence, the geo user finding the scenery somewhat relaxing despite his current predicament.

"This looks unsafe..." Gorou said quietly as he looked at the houses in the trees. "What if one of the houses falls?"

"Looks can be rather deceiving, Gandharva Ville has some of the safest infrastructure in Sumeru especially for our location." Tighnari explained. "It's a lot safer to be in the trees than to remain on the ground here."

The general just nodded, not willing to get into the details about just how the trees could be safer than the ground in this part of Sumeru.

Following the Sumerian along a path leading to the lowest point in the village the general looked around, his paranoia still on a high.

"Tell me, general, what's it like in your part of Inazuma? I've only ever been to Ritou."

"It's fine, you can use my name! But Watatsumi is stunning and probably the most unique island in Inazuma." The look in the brunet's eyes revealed a deep love for his home in Inazuma, it was something Tighnari found interesting.

"I'd have to visit someday." The dendro user replied right as they arrived at his place of residence.

"What's all of this?" The general questioned, pointing towards the table to the far right.

The black haired man explained that he was also a botanist in Gandharva Ville and a former student of the renowned Sumeru Akedemiya.

"All these achievements and you introduce yourself as just 'a Forest Watcher from Gandharva Ville'?" The doggy general questioned in absolute disbelief.
