BEAUTIFUL

"Jade come down here." My mom yells from downstairs. "Coming!" I yell back putting on my slippers. "Let me call you back Oak." I say on the phone. "That's fine, don't forget about our plans later." He reminds me. "I know I know." I say before hanging up. I head downstairs and see my mom with her computer out on the dining room table.

      "What's up?" I put the hair in my face behind my ears. "Care to explain this?" She turns the computer around. It was talking about Jacob and I breaking up, and Oakley and I being out. "What about it?" I ask confused. "Why would you break up with Jacob?" She says sternly. "He cheated on me." I reply. "So you decided to break up with him?" She raises her eyebrows. "I mean.. yeah? Isn't that what I'm supposed to do?" I say. "Without consulting me?" She crosses her arms. "I have to consult you about breaking up with my CHEATING boyfriend?" I say in disbelief.

"If you're gonna be famous you need to consult me about everything you do." She says sternly. "Mom are you actually serious? He CHEATED on me." I say in distress. "And then you decide to hang out with this trashy rapper?" She says showing me a post with Cench and I in it. "He's my friend mom and not to mention dad is also a U.K rapper." I cross my arms. "My point exactly, I don't want you seeing him anymore." She says. I scoff. "Mom you cannot be serious." I say. "He's trash Jade, and you know it." She states. "Why is it that everytime I feel happy you have to take it away?" I argue. "Oh get over yourself Jade, he's nothing but a boy." She rolls her eyes.

"I'm not going to stop seeing him." I reply. "Then you can't be under this roof." She touches her tongue with the inside of her cheek. "Fine." I walk away. "So you'll stop seeing him?" She asks. "Nope." I say walking up the stairs. As soon as I reach the top I see Cade standing there. "You heard everything didn't you?" I say. He nods his head and looks down. "So where are you gonna go? Back home?" He puts his hands in his pockets. "I can't go home, Jacob is there." I utter.

"Call Cench." He says. "What?" I ask in confusion. "He has a house, he'll help you get away from mom for a bit... you need it." He comforts me. "Thank you." I whisper before going into my room. I hesitate to pull out my phone. I don't want to become a burden to him. Before I could even dial his number he already started calling me. I pick up. "Hello?" I speak. "Of course you can come stay here." He says. "How... how'd you know?" I say confused. "Cade texted me. I'll go pick you up okay?" He says. "Okay." I say. Before I could get any other words out he hangs up.

    I start to pack a bag. I open my underwear drawer and think about what COULD happen if I stay with him. So with that thought in my mind... I grab the cutest underwear I could find and put it in my bag. I pick a few outfits and take a load of cash that I got for my photoshoot (which was a graceful amount). Around twenty minutes later I get a message from him that he pulled up. I grab my things and head downstairs to the front door. "Jade where are you going?" My dad asks. "Ask mom." I roll my eyes before I close the door.

Walking out the door I see Oakley's car parked right outside. He was bumping some kind of drill music and smoking a joint out the window. He makes eye contact with me and steps out his car to open the door. "Hey." He smiles. "Hey." I get in the car. "So what happened?" He says getting into his car. "Uhm, my mom doesn't like the fact that I broke up with Jacob." I put on my seatbelt. "Did you tell her that he cheated on you?" He asks starting the car. "Yeah, but she cares more about the publicity than my own feelings." I cross my arms. "Well I'm sorry... you're always welcome at my house." He smiles. "Thank you." I smile back.

     After a couple of minutes we pull up to the front of his house. I take off my seatbelt and open the door. "Wait." He says stopping me before I could step out. "What's up?" I ask. "I'm sorry you got kicked out like that. You don't deserve it." He speaks genuinely and softly. I give him a soft grin. I feel the sun hit my skin and blind my eyes."You're really beautiful in the sun." He looks at every inch of my face. "Thank you." I utter. "I'm serious." He holds my face. "You are the most beautiful woman I've ever seen."
