MONEY

It's been a couple days since I've been staying with Oakley. We've been pretty romantic with each other throughout the days but haven't really talked about it. Today we are staying inside since it's a rainy day. We are watching a movie and cuddled under some blankets.

"So what even is the point of this movie?" I say. "Just watch it." He rolls his eyes. I put the blanket fully over my body just leaving my head poking out. "It's so much violence." I complain. "It's a good film innit?" He chuckles. I roll my eyes. We continue watching the movie and I slowly start feeling his hand trying to creep for mine. I look at him with the corner of my eye and slightly smile.

"I really like having you here." He looks at me. I get butterflies in my stomach. "Thank you for having me here." I shrug. He begins to lean in but gets interrupted by a knock at the door. "Sorry." He laughs getting up. He opens the door up and I see Cade walk in. I sit up straight and clear my throat trying not to make anything seem off. "What's up bro?" He daps up Cench. "Come in." Cench says. "Hello twin sister, why haven't you been bothered to call?" He says giving me a hug. "I'm sorry I've just been on vacay mode." I laugh.

He sits down between Cench and I on the couch. "What are you guys watching?" He laughs. "I have no idea." I shake my head. I look at my brother. It looked like he was out in the rain for a while. Throughout the rest of the movie Cade and Cench kept exchanging concerned looks at each other, I try to avoid it but they kept doing it. "Hey Cade, I forgot to show you uhm... my uhm... new game that I got." Cench scratches the back of his head. "Well shit bro show me." Cade says getting up quickly. Before I could even say anything they step into Cench's room.

    I can hear tiny whispers coming from the other side of the door. I couldn't really make out what they were saying but it seemed very serious. I know that if Cade was in trouble he would tell me so I decide to just ignore it. I pick up the remote because I got tired of the movie that was on. I go through all the different movies on Netflix until I land on one. I lean back and get comfy.

    After a few minutes there was a knock at the door. "I got it." I yell out. I open the door and see a very large man with face tattoos standing so confidently. "Hi how can I help you?" I smile. He eyes me up and down as he glares. "Is Central Cee or Cade here?" He says in a deep voice. "Uh yeah would you like me to get them?" I say. He nods once. "Alright." I walk back awkwardly.

   I knock on Cench's door. "What's up?" He says opening the door half way the room reeked of weed. "Uhm, there's a man outside looking for you guys." I point. "Fuck." He utters looking back at Cade. Cade pushes through and grabs me. "Jade... listen to me carefully. Lock yourself in your room and whatever you do... DO NOT COME OUT." He looks me in the eyes. I look back at Cench and see he's putting something in his pocket. "GO." Cade yells. I nod frantically and head to my room locking it behind me.

    I sit on the bed and try to listen in on what's going on. I had my phone out with 911 on the screen in case I needed to call. "Let's get straight to the point... where's my money?" The guy says. "Man we haven't finished selling everything." Cade says. "Alright then give me my product back." The guy says. "Come on bro we'll sell it." Cench follows. "This is what we got so far." Cade says slapping something on the table. I peek through the door. It was money... are they seriously drug dealing? "I need the rest." The guy says picking it up and counting. "We will give it to you." Cench leans on the table.

    "I'm sorry, I didn't quite catch that... I meant I need it now." The guy says picking up Cade by the shirt. They break out into an argument. I let out a gasp. I quickly go through my stuff and pull out the cash that I brought. Even though I was very very angry I had to take care of my brother. I pack up my bag and put on my shoes. I open the door and see Cade spitting out blood while Cench is sitting on the floor. "Unbelievable." I say in disgust. "Here asshole." I hand over the cash to the guy and walk out. I start to walk on the rainy street since I didn't really have a car.

Cade and Cench drive up next to me after a couple miles. "Get inside Jade." Cade says. "No! Im not getting inside the car with a bunch of fucking felons." I yell. "Please... I can explain." Cade gets out the car. "You know... I could see it coming from Cench. But from you!" I pause and look him in the eyes. Tears start to form and my throat begins to close. "I lost so much respect... for both of you." I look at Cench that isn't even looking at me, he looked down at his hands in embarrassment.

"The whole reason why we started doing this internet shit is so we DIDN'T have to be out doing shit like this on the street!" I wave my hands around. "You want ME to have a better life by leaving Jacob when you're a fucking druggie!" I cry. "Jade please." He cries. "FUCK YOU CADE!
You're just like dad." I wipe my tears and walk off, leaving him standing in the middle of the rain. "Where are you going?" He yells. "New York." I don't turn back and keep walking.
