(Avery's Point of View)

I shook the doorknob violently until I felt a sharp pain in the same arm which was shot. 'I better not have gotten shot again,' I sighed, grabbing a rather large rock I'd shoved in my pocket earlier. I noticed a window and threw the rock at it in a desperate attempt to get inside. Thankfully, the window shattered and I took my chances and jumped through it. I then realized the door was unlocked, I was just turning the handle the wrong way, and that I was left with a rather large mess. When I realized this, a sharp pain in the opposite leg as my twisted ankle became impossible to ignore. I stared down at it, hoping I didn't get shot again, and found a shard of glass in my knee. I pulled it out and nearly whimpered in pain. I slowly peeked through the window and watched the sociopaths drive off in defeat. 'That was fucking close,' I thought, forcing a grin.

I then noticed that the window was fixed again, showing no evidence of a rock ever being thrown at it. I shrugged and threw the bloodied glass shard in the trash. I decided to look around the room and found out I was in Alfred's living room with a few couches right next to me. I tried to walk over to one of them, but screamed in pain as I tried to walk on my twisted ankle. As I tried to walk to the couch, I fell on my face out of dizziness, nearly knocking me unconscious. I coughed a little bit and blood started oozing out of my mouth. 'Great,' I sighed, my vision getting more and more blurry. 'I get shot in the arm, a glass shard in my knee, nearly killed by a group of psychopaths, dizzy, and blurry vision at the exact same time. The last thing I fucking need is to start coughing up blood.' I yelped in pain one last time, my voice becoming hoarse, and shut my eyes, falling into a peaceful silence and darkness.

(Sealand's Point of View)

I finished the hot cocoa Finland had made for us and decided to build a Lego city with Denmark. He'd told me that he just got a cool new set that he wanted to use. Once I entered Denmark's tornado aftermath, I mean, room,  I found the set he was talking about. "Pretty awesome, huh?" he asked, chuckling. "Yeah, I guess," I sighed, wondering where AJ was. "You're not thinking about that girl, are you?" Denmark asked. "N-No," I lied, my cheeks felt like they were on fire. "Maybe you should stop doing that," he laughed, knowing how terrible I am at lying. "I'll be right back," I said, changing the subject. "I'm going to get some water." "Get some beer for me too, while you're at it," Denmark called as I shut the door.

I hurried down the stairs and into the kitchen. As I had grabbed Denmark a bottle of beer and a cup of ice water for me, I noticed something on the living room floor. I left the drinks on the counter and decided to investigate for myself. As I came closer and closer to it, I noticed that it was a body of a teenage girl lying face down on the floor. I also noticed blood dripping from one of her arms and one of her legs. I tried to take off the jacket she was wearing, but there was something wrapped around the bleeding arm. I unwrapped it and noticed it was one of England's scarves, all covered in blood. I took off the jacket to find that there was a fairly new gunshot wound in the arm. Then, I turned her head so that she was facing me and noticed blood dripping from her mouth. I then realized that this was no ordinary girl I was dealing with. I realized at that moment that it was AJ lying on the ground. My eyes widened as I tried to wake her up with no results. "Wake up, Avery, please," I muttered, trying to fight back tears. "Somebody, help!" I shouted. "Anyone, please! There's something very wrong here, and I don't know what to do!" 'Please, don't die on me, best friend,' I thought, rivers of tears rolling down my face. 'You have so much to live for, your full life ahead of you. Please don't go on me like this. Stay with me, please.'
