I kicked at my hoodie next to my feet trying to get it away so I wouldn't get it too dirty with my shoes, at the same time laughing at Luke as he sang in a very fake country accent in tune of Blue Christmas by Elvis that was playing on the radio. We were leaving the movie theater after watching the new hobbit movie, meaning Luke's car was currently stuck at the exit of the parking lot because of the terrible traffic on this December day. Though, we were entertaining ourselves.

"Oh, Rudolf," I said as the song ended and the next one came on. I bounced in my seat some and turned up the volume and started humming along.

"I think you're obsessed with Christmas songs," Luke laughed. He smiled at me, his tongue poking out behind his teeth some.

I rolled my eyes playfully and pointed towards the road. "There's an opening finally." His faded a little as he looked forward again to see that there were finally no cars on the road; but there was a lot more coming. He pushed on the pedal and soon we were finally on the road going to... "Oh, uh, where're we going now?" I asked.

"Hm? Oh... Food? I-."

"Don't say you're hungry because we ate breakfast and then ate a bunch of popcorn and candy at the movies," I interrupted him.

"Okay, fine." Luke paused as he slowly down the truck, stopping behind another car. We were at a red light. "We could go back to the dorm? Hang out and watch more movies."

"Eh, I don't feel like being lazy."

"Then I have no clue, Faith-Anne."

"Oh! My aunt has owns a horse farm! We can go there."

"Are we going the right way?"

"No."

"Then no."

I glared at Luke and crossed my arms. "Luke, you want to do something, right?" He nodded. "Then turn this truck around and go to my aunt's horse farm. It's kinda far away but it'll be fun feeding them peppermints."

"Your family?" He asked.

"The horses."

"Oh... That makes more sense."

We were both quiet, then, as he started driving again and the Holiday station filled the atmosphere with Christmas music. I pulled the sleeves of my sweater over my hands and leaned back in my seat some, remembering what I really need to talk to Luke about but not wanting to ruin the happy mood at the moment. Sighing, I took a quick glance at Luke before looking back out the window. The traffic was bad so if we started fighting it could end up in a wreck. That would not be good.

I was cut out of my thoughts my phone vibrating against my leg, making me jump slightly. I quietly mumbled a 'shut up' to Luke as he laughed at me and as I unlocked my phone to read the message.

"Once I find a good spot to turn around, you need to tell me how to get to the horse farm," he spoke up quickly.

I nodded. "Alright."
