New powers?

‘What is it you want to talk about me with sensei?’ Kai asked Wu as soon as they got somewhere more private. ‘I saw you while you were doing the exercises I gave you but why did you change them a bit?’ sensei asked. ‘Because they were too easy and I didn't want to bother you again as you were training the others.’ Kai said. ‘So you just decided to change the exercises to make them way more difficult. I don't even think the other’s would be able to do what you just did, Kai' sensei Wu said. Kai was speechless ever since he went into the temple. He felt like everything became easier, like he became stronger and he didn’t get tired as fast. He didn't think much about it until now. ‘I don’t know why, maybe it has to do with all the things I used to do back home. Kai answered, trying not to sound suspicious. Sensei Wu thought that was a good enough excuse so he just let it go and they went to the kitchen to go and eat. During the day Kai kept thinking back to the conversation between him and Sensei Wu.

How he got so strong did it have to do with what happend back at the temple, was it the sword that was now disguised as a necklace he didn’t know so after a bit of thinking he decided to go to his room and try a few things. First he took the necklace off and thought about it turning back into a sword, and it did. He looked at the sword he held and thought back to when they were about to leave the underworld and what sensei Wu said. He then put the sword down on his bed and looked at his hand as he tried to make fire come out of his hand.
It worked. It was a small fire, but he looked at it in awe.

It was pretty, a small red, orange flame dancing in his hand. After looking at it for a bit he closed his hand and the flame was gone. He kept experimenting with it and the sword for a bit until someone knocked on his door. ‘Hey Kai, it's Cole can I come inside?’ Cole asked. ‘ Yeah just wait a bit I’ll be right there’ Kai answers and quickly turns the sword back into a necklace and opens the door. ‘hey’ Kai says,’hey’ Cole answers. Kai quickly let Cole inside and soon they were laying in Kai’s bed cuddling and talking about whatever they could think of.

A few days have passed now and Kai now has a daily routine. First wake up some days with Cole other than then he trained with the ninja and after they ate breakfast. After he would usually do some chatting with the others sometimes he would play games with Jay. After gaming or talking for a few hours he would go to his room and practice his new abilities he knew his room was not the best place to train but it was the only place nobody would be and where nobody would disturb him and find out about his powers. After practicing for a bit Cole would knock on his door or he would go to Cole’s and knock on his door and they would spend the rest of the day together cuddling, talking and watching movies. He was happy with this way of life, but that was only short lived when the ninja suddenly got a report of “lord Garmadon” or so they thought.

It was actually his son who was causing a disturbance. The ninja quickly dealt with it and went back home. After the ninja dealt with Lloyd he was walking around when he stumbled across the tomb where the hypnobrai were sealed away and opened the tomb releasing them. He soon got control over the leader after he tried to hypnotize him, but he hypnotized himself and Lloyd had now control over all the hypnobrai. He soon got back to the village and was stealing candy and causing a lot of chaos by hypnotizing the villagers. The ninja as soon as they got back got another emergency report about Lloyed so the ninja went back to the village. There they saw the snakes. The ninja battled the snakes after the fight they managed to win and unhypnotized the villagers, but Lloyd and the snakes had run away but not before one of them hypnotized Cole without anyone knowing. The ninja soon after got back home and told their sensei all about what had happened. Sensei soon made it known to them that this was not good and that they had to stop Lloyd before anything bad would happen. The ninja agreed with what their sensei had just told them.

Kai was standing in the back just listening wondering what they could do to stop them, then their sensei said that the ninja had to reach their true potential and that he had to leave on an important trip. The ninja had many questions, but sensei Wu shut them down and told them to leave the room. The ninja and Kai had now left the room and were talking about what would happen. Kai even though he will never admit it was a little scared so he held Cole’s hand in secret while everyone was talking. Cole noticed this and gave Kai a quick glance before squeezing his hand and returning back to the conversation. This went unnoticed by the other ninja. A few hours of talking later it was now time for dinner, it was Cole’s turn to make dinner.

The others were not pleased by this Cole wasn’t exactly the best cook, last time Cole cooked their mouths were shut closed for a whole while. After dinner, lucky this time their mouths were not shut closed by his food, Kai and Cole went to Cole’s room to cuddle and talk. After a bit of talking they decided to not hide their relationship anymore but they would not tell the others and if they asked if they were together they would just answer honestly that yes they were together. After a bit more of talking Kai fell asleep on Cole’s chest and Cole followed soon after.
