What's going on?

Kai pov

‘What’s going on, where am I?’ I said as I looked around now, seeing that I was in the medbay. ‘I’m in the medbay and where is everyone else?’ I said as I was looking around wondering why I was all alone. ‘GUYS! Is there anyone here?!’ I shouted. I heard no answer so I got up to walk out to see if I could find anyone. Kitchen? No one. Living room? No one. Training room? No one. I went on like that until I had searched everywhere on the bounty.

‘Where is everyone? Did they leave to go get the fangblade without me?!’ I said now sitting on the deck looking at the sky, when suddenly the sky went black as if it was night and  strange black purple tentacles came out of the clouds trying to grab me. I ran inside the bounty to try and get away from them but they were faster and quickly grabbed me. I tried using my fire? but it did not work. It was like the tentacles were immune to fire. I shouted for help but no one came.

Soon everything went black. When I woke up I was in some strange cave not like the one I had been in before where my parents were, a strange cave dark and eerie. I stood up and started walking around. Soon I saw a light in the distance, thinking it was the exit I ran to it. Once I arrived at the light I saw that there was no exit. But there were a lot of prison cells. I walked up to one and looked inside.

I saw something I never in my life wanted to see. I saw everyone except Nya, Cole and Lloyd tied up all bloody and knocked unconscious. I tried waking them up but to no luck. That is when I noticed that Cole and Lloyd were missing. Maybe they escaped? I opened the cell with a key that was hanging on the wall so they could escape once they woke up and started looking around for Nya, Lloyd and Cole.

I searched every cell but to no luck. So I headed deeper into the cave to try and find them. He kept walking and it got darker and darker. He then saw an opening that led to a kliff? He walked over to the edge so he could see better and he saw lava at the bottom of the kliff. He was in the middle of an active volcano.

‘Mhhhh!!!! Mhhh!!!’ he heard from above him. and when he looked up he saw Lloyd, Nya and Cole hanging from chains above the lava. ‘COLE! NYA! LLOYD!’ I shouted. ‘Well, well, well look who we have here. Looks like you have finally decided to join us here Kai.’ A deep voice sounded from next to me. When I looked over I saw a shadow figure standing there.

‘WHO ARE YOU!’ I shouted at the figure. ‘Who I am does not matter but what does matter is you, and your choice.’ The figure said. ‘What do you mean by choice?’ I said. ‘Well who are you going to save 'cause you can’t save all of them. In a few seconds I’m going to push this button and they will fall into the lava beneath and think fast Kai time is ticking.’ As the figure finished speaking I looked back to Nya, Cole and Lloyd wanting to save them all.

‘Times up!’ The figure shouted and pushed the button. I didn't have time to think so I caught Lloyd and tried to get the others but it was too late… They fell into the lava. I could hear their screams and then silence. I fell to the ground crying and passed out.

‘-i’

‘-ai’

‘Kai’

‘KAI! Wake up!!!!’ I was shaken awake and looked around the room to see Cole looking at me in fear. ‘Finally you woke up. It looked like you had a bad nightmare there love are you okay?’ He said as he patted my head. It took me a few seconds to figure out what had happened and soon I tackled him to the ground in a hug. ‘Omg you’re alive!! It was all a dream THANK GOD!!!’ I shouted. ‘That must have been one bad dream what did you dream about?’ Cole asked me but I didn’t answer but instead buried my face in his chest. ‘Oh it must have been bad if you don’t want to talk about it. That is okay I won't force you.’ He said and then started playing with my hair.

A Few hours later 

3rd person pov

Kai and Cole were laying on the bed cuddling when a knock on the door interrupted them. ‘Kai have you seen Cole it is time for dinner! Mom made pasta for us!!’ Nya shouted excitedly. ‘Yeah he is here with me. We will be out in a few.’ Kai said not really feeling like going to eat after knowing Maya made the food. 

Cole looked over at Kai and kissed his forehead. After Kai told him everything he has been through he now has a better understanding of Kai and his emotions. He knew he strongly disliked, if not hated Nya and Crya’s parents for what they did to him when he was younger. But he let it go for the time being but if they said or did something to Kai there would be war. 

They soon got out of the bed and walked over to the dining room where everyone was waiting for them to start eating. They soon sat down and everyone was eating and enjoying smalltalk among each other. 

After eating 

Everyone was now in the living room jst chatting about everything that has happened and filling Maya and Ray in on everything that has changed in the world in the last 13 years that they had been kidnapped. Kai and Cole were sitting in the corner of the room not really listening to the conversation, just enjoying the time with each other. Mostly because Kai did not want anything to do with Maya and Ray. 

After a while it was now time to go to sleep and Kai took Lloyd, who was sleeping on the couch next to Maya, Ray and Nya and started walking away. They noticed Kai and gave him a nasty look minus Nya of course. Which Kai saw but let it slide and walked away carrying Lloyd over to his room. He did not want Lloyd to sleep alone with Maya and Ray there. He just had a feeling that he needed to keep Lloyd away from them. 

Cole after a few minutes also entered Kai’s room with a lot of pillows and blankets. ‘I thought you might want these.’ He said as he locked the door behind him and walked over to where Kai and Lloyd were laying on the bed and gave Kai the blankets. ‘Thanks babe, you know me way too well.’ Kai said with a smile and took the blankets and made some kind of nest with it. After he was done he patted the spot next to him for Cole to come and lay down. After a few minutes they were all 3 cuddling asleep waiting for the next day to arrive where they would go to the underwater volcano to get the third fangblade.
