AU: where Tuck doesn't exist and Miranda learns something surprising about her life

"Binyamin" His father called to him "Βενιαμίν" He called again. He was growing increasingly irritated at the fact his son was not coming. "Benjamin" his voice boomed
"Father" Benjamin appeared before him
"Why must I call you in three different tongues for you to appear before me" He crossed his arms
"I was looking at her father" Ben smiled. He waved his hand and cloud appeared which showed a glimpse at what Miranda was doing.
"That is what I wanted to talk to you about" His father looked into the cloud
"Did I do something wrong" He asked
"No, my son. The prophecy is why I called you in here"
"Is it time for me to go tell her who she really is" Ben asked
"Yes" He nodded
"Is she ready"
"No one is ready to hear they have been living their lives amongst men when they are gods" He laughed
"I give her the option to embrace this or become forever mortal" He looked at her "what if she decides to become forever mortal"
"Then my son you have the option to become a mortal with her. She is your chosen one"
"But I do not want to be a mortal" He sighed
"Then I suggest you show her why being a god is better" His father clapped his hands sending Ben to the mortal realm. Ben hit the ground with a thud.
"A warning would have been nice" He stood up and dusted himself off. He looked at where he was. The hospital. He recognized it as where Miranda worked. He walked inside and admired the building. He didn't spend much time in the mortal realm but he did enjoy watching Miranda. When Ben was young the elder gods chose a mortal mate to bestow godly powers upon to be his wife. And just his luck they chose Miranda. He was completely infatuated by her.
"Umm hello, where can I find Miranda Bailey" Ben asked the woman sitting at the desk
"Does she know you" Someone walked over to him
"Umm I am an old friend. Benjamin" He smiled and stuck his hand out for a handshake
"Hello" The woman shook his hand. He used this opportunity to use some of his power and find out who this woman was
"Callie right" He smiled
"Uh yeah" She nodded
"You are friend of Miranda's" He smiled
"I'll go see if she's free" She walked off staring at the man. She found Miranda in the hall just having left a surgery
"Bailey" She called
"What's up" She smiled
"There's a Benjamin in the lobby. Says he knows you. Claims your old friends. He knew my name"
"I don't think I know a Benjamin. Let me go see this man" She furrowed her eyebrows.
Her and Callie made their way to the lobby where Ben was still waiting and smiling in anticipation.
"There he is" Callie pointed
"I have never seen that man before in my life" She shrugged "should I go over there"
"Well he knows you and he knows we're friends"
"Ahem Sir" Miranda walked over to him
"Miranda Bailey" Ben smiled. Feeling excited to finally be face to face with her.
