Ben walked by all the places Shepard told him Miranda liked to take her little male nurse to have sex. When she was with him it was a whole lecture about not looking at her like he's seen her naked and how he couldn't even kiss her at work. But this nurse somehow managed to make her throw that out the window. The thought infuriated Ben. She broke up with him because she wasn't in the right mind space for a relationship but yet here she is. If it was hot sex around the hospital to get her mind right then he could've provided that.
"Ben you're seething" Derek walked by him
"What's he got that I don't "Ben looked at Eli
"I hear she isn't even serious about him" Derek shrugged. The mental image of them in the on-call room forever burned in his mind.
"She told me I couldn't even kiss her in this hospital" Ben shook his head
"Well" Derek wasn't sure to say
"Don't tell me any more about them" He sighed
"Don't you have students?" Derek asked Ben
"They're with Knox" He shrugged
"So you can sulk" He laughed
"Nope. so I can work and not have to teach anyone" He patted Derek on the back walking off. Derek noticed that he was actually following Miranda and just shook his head
"Miranda Bailey how's that tape and glue holding you" He sarcastically asked
"Ben if you can't be professional" She started to lecture him
"Woman, what did I tell you about those lectures? I don't care for them. And I don't care for being lied to"
"I didn't lie to you. I was not ready for such a serious relationship"
"You're ready to sleep with a nurse though" He asked
"I'm not doing this. If you can't be professional around me then don't be around me" She started to walk off but he took her hand and pulled her to him
"He will never do the things that I do to you. He will never be me. Just remember that" He walked away.
She stood there and watched him walk away. She fanned herself when Teddy walked by
"Ben's butt still on your mind" She laughed
"You hush" She walked away and followed Ben. He was getting a drink from the vending machine.
"Can I buy you something too or does your nurse ensure you're hydrated?" He asked seeing her out of the corner of his eyes
"I..umm" She felt herself go stupid and her words left her. He opened his drink and drank it walking over to her. "We both know why you followed me" He smirked
"I umm was just heading this way...to... umm"
"Right," He took another sip of his drink and pulled her close to him. Pressing his lips to hers and parting her lips with his tongue. She could taste the drink in his mouth. It was fruity and sweet. She wondered what he had been drinking. They pulled away and she licked her lips savoring the sweetness.
"Fruit punch" He smiled showing her the bottle " Like the taste of it on my tongue"
"Ben" She whispered "I'm sorry"
"Yeah you just are realizing what you lost so I'm not sure if you are sorry however right now I want you so I'll accept that apology if you join me somewhere in this hospital"
She didn't say anything but when he reached his hand out she took it. He led her to an on-call room on a different floor.
"Why did we come up here"
