I walked out of Lorenzo's room and saw him sitting on the floor by the door. He looked at me.

Veronica - did you sit out here for 2 hours?

Renzo - yep. We need to talk-

Veronica - about?

Renzo - don't act clueless.

Veronica - I've made my peace with that fact that she'll always run back to him despite everything he's done to me and her. Love is a powerful thing and unfortunately the love she has for him triumphs over any love she has for me. She coked out right now and has been since he got back. I thought maybe he'd change and I would finally get to have a father, but no. You know my mother only became overprotective when he left because she didn't want me to end up like her , a recovering drug addict.

Renzo - she didn't give off coke head when I first met her

Veronica - well yeah. She likes to keep up appearances so nobody knows her habit but me. Lorenzo I'm fine. I don't care if I never speak to either of them again.

Renzo - when we eventually have children-

Veronica - they won't meet them. Especially not him, I at least want to protect them from the same sick shit I endured. Why do you keep brining up kids?

Renzo - so that you'll be more relaxed because me nutting in you.

Veronica - I'm past that. I took the plan b.

Renzo - I'm talking about in the future, like a week from now.

Veronica - we're not fucking next week. I'll be on my period.

Renzo - that's doesn't stop anything

Renzo - I'm in love actually.

Veronica - about the tattoo...

Renzo - man it's been 3 months , I thought you forgot about that.

Veronica - I have some concept art that I-

Renzo - Veronica you can't get a tattoo if you're pregnant.

Veronica - I'm not pregnant

Renzo - not yet you aren't.

Veronica - I don't understand why you don't want me to have a tattoo.

Renzo - You can get a tattoo, I just can't do it.

Veronica - why?

Renzo - you make me hot. I want to be able to concentrate on the tattoo and I can't do that because of you

Veronica - because you get a hard dick , you can't do my tattoo.

Renzo - exactly. I'll see if JT will do it because I know Scarlett will fuck it up.

Veronica - why does she still work for you? Be honest.

Renzo - she was working there with my brother before  she got him killed.   Her and her brother were  both were. After he killed Leo, he fled immediately and only recently came back a couple months ago.

Veronica - it's weird they were never arrested.

Renzo - having your uncle as cop does wonders. 

Veronica - did you speak out against them?

Renzo - their uncle let me off on drug charges plenty of times when I got caught and they used that against me so no. I couldn't or I would end up in jail for those charges.

Veronica -  we can-

Renzo - leave it alone.   The case is closed anyway as the murder is " unsolved."
