I walked out of my apartment and saw Veronica walking in from outside. She saw me and turned around.

Remzo - Bambi

She stopped and looked at me , not saying a word.

Renzo - whatever Scar or Ari told you , isn't true.

Veronica - Lorenzo what do you want with me. Be honest. 

Renzo - Bambi I like you. 

Veronica -   I definitely can't tell if you still fucking Ari.

Renzo - I haven't touched that girl.

Veronica - she had on your robe.

Renzo -  she must've put it on when you knocked on the door.  I still want to take you out.

Veronica - let's go.

Renzo - now?

Veronica - if you aren't busy

Renzo - I have to go to work , but you can come in around 12, I go on break then.

Veronica- okay.

Renzo - I'll text you the address.

Veronica - okay

I walked into the shop and saw Scarlett talking with her brother, Sean.

Sean - hey Renzo

I looked at him.

Sean - damn nigga you can't speak.

Renzo - why I be friendly with the people who killed my brother.

Scar- I didn't-

Renzo - you did.

Sean - you know , watching him die felt g-

Scar - Sean stop

Renzo - nah go ahead.

Sean - I should go

He walked out.

Scar - I'm sorry about-

Renzo - save it.

Scar - what is your problem? That deaf bitch has yo nose wide open. Why would you wanna be with her?

Renzo - she doesn't have anything to do with you. Don't worry about her.

Scar - I'm not worried. But you're gonna realize you made a mistake. The bitch can't hear a-

Renzo - Scarlett please shut up.

I went in my office.

12 PM

I finished my client and saw Teana walk in with Leona.

Leona - uncle Renzo

She hugged me.

Renzo - hey Leo. Hey T.

I saw Veronica walk in.

Renzo - Bambi.

She waved at me and smiled.

Leona walked over to her.

Leona - are you my uncle's girlfriend.

Veronica  signed to her.

Leona - you can't talk?

Renzo - Leo she can't hear. She doesn't have her  hearing aids in.

Bambi signed to me that , her hearing aids were charging.

Teana - well Renzo she's gorgeous.

30 minutes later

I sat with Teana while Renzo translated what I was signing to her. His sister in law is really sweet and his niece is adorable.

Scarlett rolled her eyes at me.

I don't know what her problem is. It's not like me and Renzo are together for real. We're just hanging out.

The door swung open and my mother walked in. She grabbed me.  She is pissed. I just left the apartment building and didn't tell her where I was going because she doesn't like Lorenzo.

Vivian - I told you to stay away from my daughter.

Renzo -  Mrs. Chandler-

Vivian - I don't know what type of shit you do with these bitches. But you will not hurt my daughter.

Renzo - I can assure you that's not my intention.

She rolled her eyes at me.

She snatched Bambi up and they left.

I looked at Veronica as she out her hearing aids in.

Vivian - Veronica what is your problem?

Veronica - I don't have a problem.

Vivian - obviously you do. Sneaking off to be with that man when all he's gonna do is hurt you.

Veronica - you don't know that.

Vivian - but I know his type.  It's a facade.

Veronica - it's not. He genuinely likes me and I like him.

Vivian - I set you up with David.

Veronica - I don't like David. You won't even give Renzo a chance mama. Just because daddy hurt you-

Vivian - don't bring your dad into this.

Veronica - I'm still gonna see Renzo despite what you say

Vivian - okay and you'll see that I was right.

I'm just trying to protect my daughter. I can see through that phony ass facade that man puts up.
