I looked down at Veronica as I held her hand. I'm going with her to pick up her hearing aides.  Her mom is still mad at me about buying them but Bambi needs to hear.  I'm not making her pay me back either and I told Bambi to just think of it as a gift.

I sat with Bambi as she put the hearing aides on her  ears. She smiled.

Lorenzo -  what?

Bambi - I just feel like my world just opened up.  Everything was muffled for the last month.

Lorenzo -  we had full blown conversations

Bambi - I can read lips.

I took her home and saw a man sitting on the couch in her apartment.

Bambi - this is my boyfriend  Lorenzo. Renzo this is my dad , Gabriel.

I shook his hand.

Bambi - dad why are you here?

Her mom stepped out her room in a dress.  I looked at Bambi. Father God what is going on?

Lorenzo - not you stepping out on us. Go ahead mama.

Bambi - Renzo hush . Mom  what are you doing?

Gabriel - we're going to dinner

Bambi - mom can I speak with you in private.

I took my mom into my room.

Veronica - how are you gonna just let him back in our lives.

Vivian - I suggest you worry about Orlando.

Vivian - you're right across the hall in that boy's apartment .

She walked out.

She won't admit it but she trust Renzo to look after me so that's a start. She'll warm up to him eventually.

I heard the front door close.

Lorenzo - yo parents just left. Yo dad was happy to get out of here. Probably getting some ass tonight. That'll do yo mama some good , maybe she won't be as uptight.

Veronica - shut up

Lorenzo - you need to get fucked just because

Veronica - Renzo

Lorenzo - what?

Veronica - go back to work.

Lorenzo - I would if you would give me a kiss before I go

I kissed him.

Lorenzo - my day is made. I'll be happier if you let me eat yo pussy later though.

Veronica - I'll think about it

Lorenzo - alright I'll see you later. What should I cook later?

I sighed. I just hope my momma don't let him back in her life , just for him to leave again. I know she gives me sh it about Lorenzo and she shouldn't because Renzo is a good man but I still want her here safe.
