I looked at Sidney and smiled. Melany dropped Junior off with me too so I have both of them.

Veronica face timed me. She waved.

I saw Semaj in the background.

Junior ran in.

Junior - daddy I'm hungry- hi Ronnie.

She waved.

Junior - she not talking?

Renzo - she can't hear you.

Junior - oh.

Junior waved.

Junior - where your shirt?

Renzo - I don't have to wear a shirt.

Veronica - can I see my child.

I put the camera on Sidney.

Veronica - hi fat mama. Are you being good for daddy?

She smiled.

Veronica - I miss you.

Lorenzo - I miss you too baby.

Semaj sat up.

Veronica - I'm talking to Sid.

Lorenzo - Okay? I was talking to you. You know I was talking to you.

Semaj - V hang up

Veronica - Maj I wanna see my baby. Give me 15 minutes and I'll hang up

Semaj - Veronica hang up right now

Veronica - but I-

He backhanded her and the call abruptly ended.  Man hell nah.

I put Sidney down and went in my room putting my shoes and a hoodie on.

Renzo - Junior put your shoes on.

I picked up Sid putting a jacket and hat on her since it was a little cold out.

Who the fuck he think he is, putting his hands on my woman like that?

I took the kids to the car and strapped Sidney in first and then Junior.

Junior - daddy where are we going?

Renzo - to get  Ronnie

Junior - yay!

Semaj grabbed me by my throat.

Semaj - what the fuck was that?

Veronica -  he was just joking. You know how Lorenzo is babe

I am so fucking scared right now.

Semaj - that's not a joke.  What the fuck were you doing over there earlier?

Veronica - I saw Sid.

Semaj - did you fuck him?

Veronica - no

Semaj - don't lie to me Veronica.  You don't sit there and joke like that. DID YOU FUCK HIM?

Veronica - no.

He punched me.

Semaj - I told you to stop lying to me.

Veronica  -  I'm not

There was a knock on the door.

Semaj - answer the door, I gotta clean my hands.

I got up and went to the door. It was Lorenzo.

Lorenzo -  get in the car .

Veronica - Renzo

Lorenzo - car. Now.

I went to the car and saw Sidney and Junior sitting in the back seat.

I walked in the house and heard Semaj on the phone.

Semaj - yeah Baby I'll see you tomorrow. Tell the kids I love them.

What the fuck. This nigga got a whole family.

He saw me and hung up.

Semaj - what you want?

I punched him.

Renzo - you ain't gon hit my woman and think I won't beat yo ass. You out here cheating on her too. Fuck no.

Semaj  I'm not cheating. That was my wife on the phone.

Renzo - ain't nobody fucking stupid nigga. That's cheating. Nigga you married with kids. Does Veronica know?

Semaj - no and you won't tell her either. I'm married but I don't have kids. My wife is in a mental institution. 

Remzo - they need to lock yo crazy ass up with her.   Veronica is staying with me.

Semaj -  like  hell she is

He stepped to me and I pulled a gun on him.

Semaj - you gon shoot me over her

Renzo - I'd go to war for that woman.  You better tell her before I do.

I walked out.

I would tell Veronica but it ain't my place to tell his situation.  At least she's safe with me  for right now but I know she'll want to go back to him.
