I looked over at Semaj and smiled. I ended up listening to my mom and giving him a chance, much to Lorenzo's dismay, even though he was sleeping with Melany when we were trying to work things out.

Maj kissed my forehead.

Maj rested his hand on my waist.

I've been teaching him sign language so that when I don't have my hearing aides in, we can still communicate. It's a work in progress but he is trying.

I looked down at my phone seeing Lorenzo FaceTiming me. I answered.

The rest of my pregnancy went smoothly and the delivery wasn't hard either. When Sidney was born , I was just so relieved , she could hear that I burst into tears. Sid is 8 months old now and me and Renzo coparent her , even he's stated that he wants me back even though, him and Melany still sleep together.

I saw Melany walking around in the back ground.

Semaj and Lorenzo have met and Lorenzo swears up and down , he doesn't want him around Sidney. Semaj doesn't have a problem with Lorenzo but Renzo still doesn't like him.

Junior came to the phone.

Junior - Hi Ronnie. Hey Maj. Sid just pooped really bad. It's in her hair. Daddy went to change her.

Ronnie - okay . How's school

Junior - it's good. Are you coming over today? I wanna play with you.

Ronnie - of course I am.

Junior - good because I miss you. I only see Sid now and not you. I thought we were buddies.

Ronnie - oh we are.

Renzo came back holding Sidney in his arms.

Ronnie - hi fat mama

She smiled.

Lord , I swear she took Lorenzo's entire face, you would've swore he made her on his own, if you look at her.

Semaj got up and leaned in kissing me.

I saw Lorenzo's smile fade.

Semaj - I gotta get ready for work.

I nodded.

He walked out .

I looked back at my phone.

Ronnie - what's wrong with you?

I looked at Lorenzo as he frowned up.

Renzo - I told you I don't like him

Ronnie - well I do. I'm curious though as to why you don't like him.

Renzo - Bambi , he-

Renzo huffed in frustration.

Renzo - we were working on our relationship.

Ronnie - we were until I found out you were sleeping with Melany.

Renzo - I'm not sleeping with her anymore.

I stepped outside and answered my phone.

? - hi baby

I smiled , hearing her voice.

Semaj - hey gorgeous. How are you?

? - just fine. The boys miss their daddy though

Semaj - I'll get them babe. I just don't know when I'll have a free weekend to see you and the twins.

? - okay , I'll be waiting then.

I turned around and saw Veronica standing in the doorway, looking hurt.

Ronnie - you have kids? Why did you tell me?

Semaj - it's complicated

Ronnie - how is it complicated , just say you have kids.

Semaj - because I don't have kids. I don't wanna get into it.

I walked back in the house. I'll explain everything to her in due time , but she may not want to be with me anymore.
