"Dad, I also want to go with both of you. Please let me go with you. Grandfather is also not at home. And uncle has gone on the trip with friends. Being lonely, I will get bored at home."

Asfand, who was sitting in front of the mirror setting the knot of his tie, moving hands stopped for a moment at Aashir's voice. He turned back and looked at him.

For the last few minutes, he was standing with a crying face insisting on going with him.

"Son, I told you so many times that it's the business party. You will get bored there. But I promise you on Sunday I will take you to your favorite place."

He said adoringly kissing him on his soft cheeks. But on his father's assurance still, his mood wasn't changed.

"Mama, see dad is not listening to me. You tell him that I want to go with you people."

Seeing Sanam coming out of the changing room, he quickly ran to her.

"Yes, Aashir is right. Let's take him also and by the way my heart doesn't approve of leaving Aashir alone."

Asfand, who after being done with his preparation, analyzing himself for one last time in the mirror, on Sanam's voice turned his neck to her.

But he becomes a statue at his place as his eyes saw Sanam who was wearing a black net saari (Indian women attire) and her figure was glowing and alluring to him.

Without blinking his eyes, he was staring at her. He was the one who bought this saari (Indian women attire) for her because he knew Sanam doesn't have anything good to wear for the party.

But he doesn't know that Sanam will be looking so pretty and attractive in this dress.

"Dad, are you listening?"

Seeing his eyes locked on Sanam, Aashir has to again call him.

"I listened. But I think you are not getting it when I said you can't go it means you can't go."

It seems on Aashir's voice he came out of the spell. He quickly normalize his posture and masked his expressions when strictly told to him.

For losing his trance, now he was venting his anger on Aashir.

"And you go out quickly. We are already late because of you. I don't want to get late anymore."

Strictly instructing her, he stormed out of the room.

"Don't be sad son, we become late so your dad is a bit angry."

After his leave, Sanam kissed Aashir on his forehead, and with the love, she was making him understand the situation.

"Mama I am not sad. Don't worry, you go. I will wait for you."

He smiled and on that Sanam also slightly smiled.

A while later, when she came out he already had started the car. Before he got angry at her Sanam climbed in the car. On their way, they both were silent as no one tried to say a word.

Their whole journey went on that silence when after one hour's drive he stopped his car in front of the luxurious hotel. He got out of the car telling her to come behind him while he moved forward.

Sanam climbed off the car straightening her saari (Indian women attire) she went behind him.

It was the first time she was participating in any party, she was afraid that her father or her brother didn't spot her here at the party. Praying in her heart, she moved forward.

As they entered the hall, her mouth was left wide open after looking at the interior and decoration of the place. Her father was also a businessman but she never came to such like places.

"Close your mouth otherwise people will think that I picked you somewhere from the road."

He has to scold her for finding her gawking at the place. On his saying, Sanam's face turned red because of guilt.

That poor girl lowered her head because of embarrassment.

"By the way, I didn't want to take you here but I was forced to do this. I have a request to you stay silent and be with me. You don't need to unnecessarily open your mouth because I don't know about you but I have great respect and reputation here."

He made her feel more embarrassed and then wrapped his arm around her back and went ahead to meet with his business partners.

Sanam just controlled her anger on what he just told her. Because she doesn't want to create a scene here.

And then in the whole party, he continued taking her with himself and introducing her to his social and business circle.

At the party, all the high classes richest, and wealthy families were present there. It all was quite new for Sanam and now she was feeling tired.

She wanted to sit at some peaceful place and her eyes spotted an empty table on one side of the corner. So she took permission from Asfand and sat on one side of the corner.

Because of wearing high heels her feet were also now aching.

"If you don't mind then can I sit here, miss?"

With a halfhearted look, she was gazing here and there when she happened to hear a man's voice near her and she has to look up at him.

"Yes, you can sit. I don't have any problem."

With a slight smile, she permitted him to take a seat. She was unaware of the fact that Asfand, who was engrossed in talking with his business partner, gazed and noticed the scene that just happened now.

"So sweet of you dear, if there was someone else in your place then she wouldn't have allowed me like that."

He took a seat beside Sanam and without any hesitation, he placed his heavy hand on her hand. While Sanam very carefully back away her hand from his hand.

"I think you are alone here. I don't find anyone near you."

On her silence, he tried to take it further. While his gazes were penetrating her.

"No, nothing is like that. Actually, my husband is busy with his partners and friends, that's why."

His presumptuous and bold eyes were now intensely realizing Sanam her mistake. That's why she finds it necessary to tell him that her husband is here.

While looking at the place and environment the previous smile was still apparent on her face.

"He must be a stupid one who leaves his such a beautiful wife alone here. If I was at your husband's place then I wouldn't do this."

He passed her a wicked smile and leaned on her.

Asfand, who was standing in a distance, nerves constricted in anger on looking at the scene in front of him. Now his attention was totally diverted away from his partner who don't know what was saying to him.

"Excuse me, I think my husband is calling me."

Sensing his advancing moves and his wickedness as Sanam made an excuse and was about to stand up but that man quickly grasped her by her arm and stopped her from going away.

Now Asfand was done with his patience on seeing that man touching Sanam. He excused his partner and moved forward to her.

"Hey, where are you going? Yet we haven't started talking properly about each other, you sit."

His tone becomes strange as he tightened his hold on her arm.

Silently, she tried to free her arm from his clutch. But her struggling was of no use against his stronghold.

"Sanam, it's late. Let's go home. And Aashir is alone at home."

She was trying to free her hand when Asfand said encircling his arm around her back. The way Asfand was glaring at that man was enough to make him realize his mistake so he instantly let go of her arm.

He doesn't want to create a scene in front of that many people so he inhaled a deep breath to suppress his outrage.

A relief washed over Sanam after Asfand appeared around her. But looking at his stone-cold face, she felt her soul was about to leave her body.

"Let's go."

He harshly grab her by her arm and took her out more like pulling her with himself. Without saying a word, he opened the door of the car.

Sanam was dreading looking at his facial expressions.

Taking slow steps, she climbed into the front seat of the car. As she sat, Asfand started his car and pulled it out.

The fast speed of the car was informing her about his state of rage. She was silently looking at him driving the car.

Seeing him in rage, Sanam didn't summon the courage to say a word to him. Right now she was afraid of Asfand's silence. Don't know what storm is hiding behind this silence.
