"Where you gone, Sanam?"

He addressed Sanam while strolling here and there in restlessness.

Sometimes he was running his hand through his hair and the other time his hand was on his face. His every movement and gesture was speaking volumes of his tenseness.

He again took out his mobile from the pocket of his jeans and again dialed Sanam's number. It was still unreachable.

And now this time, he was infuriated using his full force he threw his mobile on the bed. For the last two days, he was in this state. He was not feeling at peace for every single moment.

How he can be at peace now as how happy he was before as he was about to meet Sanam with his father but he doesn't know that his happiness is only momentary.

On the next day, he went to the university with a gleaming face but his happiness subsided on not finding Sanam in the university.

For the whole day, he kept waiting for her, but she didn't come.

Today he again went to the university but he again came back hopeless. Her phone was still switched off.

The absence of Sanam was making Asfand worried. Because it happened for the first time otherwise whenever Sanam had any problem then she used to tell him. While on the other side, he was afraid of bad thoughts originating in his heart.

For the last two days, he was in this condition but now he was done with his patience.

"Where are you, Sanam?"

Clutching his hair he went to the bed and picked up his phone and with hope, he again dialed her number.

"Are you calling to Sanam?"

His moving hand on the dial pad of his mobile stopped for a moment after listening to the familiar voice in his room. He turned back and saw the intruder where he finds Laraib standing in his room.

She was the sister of his childhood friend, Wadan but, in fact, it will be right to say that she was also his childhood friend.

They both were studying at the same university so they were quite close to each other she used to come to his room and Asfand has no issue about this with her.

"By the way, I don't think so she will ever respond to your call now."

With a strange smile on her face, she sat on his bed. She was looking at his face for his reaction to what she just told her.

"Just say clearly whatever you want to say Laraib. You know neither I like messy talk nor I do."

Listening to Sanam's name from Laraib, he didn't at all surprised. Because he sensed that studying together she may have known about his and Sanam's relationship.

"She isn't answering your call and perhaps her number is off then it clearly means that she doesn't want to keep any relation with you anymore. You are not getting this or maybe you don't want to get it."

Without giving heed to his anger, she continued telling him. While Asfand's nerves constricted on listening to her.

"Enough Laraib, don't say a word anymore. I endured listening to your nonsense because you are my friend. Otherwise, if there was someone else in your place then her neck would be in my hand."

He was glaring at her with infuriated eyes. Not only his talks but his demeanor was also indicating Asfand's extreme anger.

"How much do you trust you’re that four months of love, Asfand? But she is not worthy of your this trust and your love."

Without caring about his wrath, she said further to him. She was unaware of the fact that he just reached the edge of his rage.

"How you can say that she isn't worthy of my trust and my love."

With a stern face, he was glaring at her with a devouring look. He can't tolerate listening to a single word against his Sanam. And now here she was continuously testing his patience.

"After seeing this I am sure you will completely believe in what I am saying is actually true."

With a sarcastic smile on her face, she got up from his bed and forwarded the screen of her mobile in front of him.

On her saying that Asfand, who was unknowingly staring at her, gaze went to the mobile in the hand of Laraib.

He blinked his eyes several times to look at the picture appearing on the screen of mobile. His mind and his heart were not accepting to believe that it was not the picture of Sanam but someone else.

But he can't deny the truth that the picture was speaking out loud to him.

This girl was no one else but his Sanam. Her head was on the shoulder of Aazal and she was sitting with him with closed eyes.

He snatched the mobile from her and looked at the second picture in which Aazal was holding Sanam's hand. His eyes got blurry looking at the scene in front of him.

"Are you still not believing but I wasn't astonished a bit after looking at the picture? Other than you everyone is aware of the truth of the way Aazal is always surrounding her."

She was further intensifying his anger. While on her revelation, Asfand for the first time gave heed to it."

Aazal was the class fellow of Asfand and Laraib. He often used to see Aazal around Sanam and talking with her. But he never gave heed to this matter and neither does his thought go to this side.

"It's a lie, I don't believe. Ma Sanam can't do this with me."

Shaking his head, he went two steps back. At that moment, his condition was quite pathetic. Like a crazy man, he was shaking his head and went on moving back.

"Your Sanam has done this. Asfand, she was playing with your feelings. She has made fun of your true love."

Her words were aching Asfand's heart.

"She can't do this with me. She will have to answer my questions."

Applying his full force, he threw the mobile holding in his hand on the floor. Laraib also dreaded for a moment looking at his madness.

"Sanam Ibrahim Khan, I will never forgive you for playing with my feelings, never ever."

As he said that, he stormed out of the room and Laraib also went behind him.
