"Will you like to tell me where are you taking me to?"

Glancing at the scenes running along with the moving car, she turned towards silently driving Asfand. She asked him with all her lack of enthusiasm when calling him.

"I already told you it's a surprise and surprise isn't told but showed. So wait for a little I am sure you will like a lot my surprise."

His eyes were fixed on the road when he was talking with her with a solemn look.

"I'm not interested in your surprise so take me back home as Aashir is already alone at home."

Listening to his this one answer for the last half hour, now she was done with her patience. If Mr. Hayat didn't insist on her then she would have never come with him.

"Today Haadi is coming back so Aashir is not alone at home. And I have already talked with dad he will soon get back home from his friend. So you don't worry about him."

Informing her about him, he almost shut all her reasons of excuses for going back. After listening to Asfand, now she turned her face towards the window. Now there was complete silence in the car.

For some days, Haadi was out of the city on a business-related matter and Mr. Hayat has to go to meet with his friend. It felt to her that she will make excuse about Aashir and will get back home. But it seemed he already did the arrangements.

Now unwillingly she has to go with him where he wants to take her.

While driving the car he glanced at her who was sitting with him ignoring him as if he was not present there.

"Why are we in this way? Where are you taking me to?"

When his car turned on a familiar way then she got nervous and gazed at Asfand.

"Asfand, I am asking you something?"

This time she shouted on his silence. But he instead of responding to her stopped his car with a jerk.

"Your surprise came, now get down."

Looking at her stunned and shocked face, he ordered her and himself came out of the car.

"You take me back, I'm not getting down. I don't want any surprise."

It was not in her illusion nor her imagination that Asfand will take her to her home. She wasn't getting why he took her here. And second, she was not finding the courage to face her mother, father, and brother.

"We will not go back till I don't do the work for which I came here."

Asfand opened the door of the car on her side and grabbed her by her arm pulling her out. He forcefully took her with himself and walked towards her house.

"I told you I don't want to go, leave my hand, Asfand."

Ignoring her resistance, he was taking long strides and moved forward while pulling her with himself.

"If not today then tomorrow you have to face them, so don't be afraid. I am with you."

He glanced at her frightened face and entered her home taking her with himself. They just stepped into the lounge when Mrs. Rukhsar's eyes spotted them both.

"Sanam, my daughter."

In a state of disbelief, she was staring at her daughter. She wasn't believing what her eyes were seeing. While Sanam's condition wasn't that different from hers. She can't stop herself to run to her mother and hug her.

But after looking at her father, her steps got frozen in her place. While after listening to the name of Sanam from her mouth Ibrahim Khan and Haris, who was sitting there on the sofa, also get attentive towards her.

In the presence of five people in the lounge, there was still complete silence.

"Now what made you come here? And how dare you step into my house?"

The rage-filled voice of Ibrahim Khan broke the silence of the lounge.

"We are not here for taking something but we are here to tell you something. If you allow can we sit and talk comfortably?"

Asfand strongly held Sanam by her hand while talking with Ibrahim Khan. She who was scared of her father's wrath was relieved to some extent in the presence of Asfand with her.

"I already know what you are intending to tell me. And I don't think so you have anything to talk about with me. So you get lost of my house right now because I don't have any relation with this girl."

With grim eyes, he roared at both of them. He was still fuming in rage the time he came back after meeting with Aazal. And now his anger further intensified after seeing them both here.

"No dad, don't say like that. I'm your daughter."

She was hit badly by what her father just told her.

"I don't want to keep any relation with that girl who ran tarnishing my dignity. Take her far away from my eyes."

Saying in displeasure, Asfand was got furious about derogating his wife but he kept on holding his patience because of Sanam.

"The man who you were about to marry your daughter, do you know what that man did with your daughter?"

Her tears of Sanam were causing him pain that's why he wants to tell that truth to Ibrahim Khan so that he doesn't hate his daughter.

"No, I don't want to know anything. You just take her and get lost from here right now."

Cutting what Asfand was telling him in the mid he glared at both of them with stern eyes.

"At least, for once you listen to him."

This time Mrs. Rukhsar also couldn't remain silent. But the way Ibrahim Khan glared at her with his grim eyes made her remain silent, unwillingly.

"I don't want to listen to anyone about anything. Once I have forgiven her for her mistake, but not again and again. Your relationship with this house was finished on that very day when you left that house. So you better take that girl from here."

Ibrahim Khan declared himself to them by emphasizing every single word. And on that, Sanam's tears started flowing. She squirmed and looked at her mother who was looking at her with helpless eyes.

"It felt to me that you are the father of Sanam and at least for once, you will surely listen to her. But I was wrong. A selfish man like you can never think about anyone."

This time Asfand was done with his patience.

"And you, you should feel ashamed of calling yourself a brother who can't protect his sister."

This time he shouted at Haris who was silently standing looking at the scene in front of him. On his saying that Haris cast his head down in guilt.

"And what marriage are you talking about? That marriage was nothing more than a business deal. It wasn't a marriage but a bargaining which you were doing of your daughter. And Sanam did well by running away from that marriage."

This time he said in a strict voice and completely silenced Ibrahim Khan. Sanam was staring at him with thankful eyes. As today he was fighting for her with her father. He was making Ibrahim Khan realize the severity of his action which Ibrahim Khan doesn't want to realize.

"I came here to tell you, people, that Sanam is not alone. Her husband is with her. What if you have finished your every relationship with her but you are always welcome at my house. Whenever you want, you can come and meet with her."

This time he said looking at Mrs. Rukhsar. And she understood very well the meaning of his words.

"I was thinking that the heart of a father is very soft. He will forget everything after looking at her and will forgive her. But I was wrong but there is no heart in your father's chest but a stone."

He glanced at Ibrahim Khan while suppressing his wrath. And silently he held Sanam, who was welling her tears, by her wrist and in rush came out of there.

He thought that he will make everything right between them by meeting Sanam with her parents but he was wrong. Seeing the grief on the face of Sanam he was now regretting his decision.

Silently he took her out and made her sit in the car while coming himself towards the driving seat. He has started the car. While in that time, Sanam's eyes were fixed on him.

How much wrong he was thinking about her. And today looking at him the way he took the stand for her in front of everyone has vanished all her anger and complaints she was carrying against him.

If he can do that much for her then she can also forgive his mistake. And so she forgave him.
