Anirudh halted his punching mid-motion, captivated by the sight of Bondita, her eyes welling up with an unceasing stream of tears.Releasing his grip on the boy's collar, Anirudh shifted his attention toward the door, where Bondita stood. A sense of unease washed over him as he observed her gaze fixed on the boy, tears streaming down her face. Something felt amiss; her distress was palpable. As Anirudh approached, the gravity of the situation intensified. Bondita's breath seemed to escape her, frozen in an inexplicable moment of suspended respiration, resembling the stillness of someone experiencing a profound panic attack. The room itself seemed to tighten as Anirudh grappled with the gravity of the situation unfolding before him.
Anirudh swiftly released the boy, rushing towards Bondita with urgency. Enveloping her in a protective embrace
He cupped her tear-streaked face, uttering reassurances. "Bondita, nothing has happened. No..No... woh kuch nahi karega.. main.. main hu tumhre sath.. Breathe, Bondita, take a breath... Saans lo bondita...breathe please breathe in..for..me bondita...," he urged, his words a soothing mantra to pull her out of the clutches of the panic attack.
Despite his efforts, Bondita remained unresponsive, her focus fixed on the boy, her breath suspended in a distressing stillness. Anirudh's concern deepened as he glared at the boy,
Anirudh: "GET OUT..." vehemently instructing him to leave, his protective instincts overriding any other consideration.
Exiting the room, Anirudh returned his attention to Bondita, persistently trying to bring her back from the grips of the panic attack. "Bondita, look at me. I'm here with you. Main tumhre Mr. Cupcake Bondita... Tumre meri Miss. cupcake hona.. please mere leye... Breathe, Bondita, take a breath," He implored, his voice a steady anchor in the turbulence of her emotions.
Gently cradling her in his arms, he carried her in a bridal style towards his chair, ensuring her comfort. Placing her hand on his chest and his hand on hers, he guided her through the process of controlled breathing. "Bondita, breathe now. 1...2...3... breathe in," he coached, his reassuring tone creating a rhythm for her to follow.
As Bondita complied, inhaling and exhaling under his guidance.
Anirudh continued offering encouragement. "Very good, Bondita. Now, breathe out. Okay, now, inhale and exhale. That's it," he murmured, his hands cupping her face, ensuring she found stability in the rhythmic cadence of her breaths. The room slowly regained its calm as Bondita, with Anirudh's support, navigated through the aftermath of the panic attack.
As Bondita resumed breathing, Anirudh gazed at her with a mixture of relief and profound concern. Overwhelmed, he instinctively pulled her into a tight embrace, seated on the chair.
A shiver ran through him as he voiced his distress, "Oh my god, Bondita, Tumhen mujh dara diya tha.... If something had happened to you today, how could I have lived without you? Main aaj se pahle itna dar kabhi nahi gaya hu Bondita"
