ANIRUDH
I shut the door of my cabin with a soft click, locking it without even thinking twice. The room fell into a thick silence, broken only by the faint hum of the air conditioner. Bondita stood by the desk, arms crossed, her expression unreadable-but there was something playful in the way she tilted her head, watching me as if daring me to make the next move.
Her tight blue jeans clung to her like a second skin, and the crisp white shirt she wore accentuated her sharp features. There was an air of confidence in her stance, but her eyes betrayed her, flickering with anticipation.
I didn't bring her here by chance. She knew it. I knew it.
"You didn't have to lock the door, you know," she said, a teasing smile tugging at her lips. "Are you afraid someone's going to walk in?"
I smirked, leaning back against the door for a moment before pushing off and walking toward her slowly. "I thought you'd appreciate some privacy. After all, I did bring you here for a reason."
Her eyebrow arched slightly, and she unfolded her arms, resting her hands casually on the desk behind her. "Oh? And what reason might that be, Anirudh?"
The way she said my name-it had always gotten under my skin. There was a kind of challenge in it, like she was testing just how far she could push me. I stopped in front of her, my hands resting on the edge of the desk on either side of her, trapping her between my arms.
"You know exactly why," I said, my voice low, barely more than a whisper.
Her lips parted, her breath hitching slightly as she held my gaze. But even though I could feel the heat between us, she still held her ground, her teasing smile never fading. "Do I? Maybe you should spell it out for me."
I leaned in closer, our faces inches apart. "Don't play coy with me, Bondita," I murmured, my voice rough. "You've been pushing my buttons all day."
"And now we're in your cabin... alone," she said, her voice soft, yet laced with amusement. "Exactly like you wanted."
"Exactly like I wanted," I echoed, letting the weight of my words hang in the air.
I could see the flicker of uncertainty in her eyes, but she was too proud to let it show fully. She had a way of keeping me on edge, always teasing, always testing. And now, she was waiting for me to make the next move.
Slowly, I let my hand drift up to her face, brushing a loose strand of hair behind her ear. She shivered at my touch, but she didn't back away. Her gaze never wavered, as if daring me to continue.
"Tell me, Sunshine," I said, my thumb grazing her jawline, "are you going to keep pretending that you don't feel it too?"
Her smile faltered for a split second, and in that moment, I knew I had her.
"You think you've got me all figured out, don't you?" she whispered, her voice barely audible.
I leaned in even closer, my lips just grazing the edge of her ear. "I don't think," I whispered back. "I know."
Her breath hitched again, and for a moment, neither of us moved. The space between us was charged, heavy with the tension we'd been dancing around for weeks. But this time, I wasn't going to hold back.
Before she could say anything more, I closed the gap between us, my lips capturing hers in a kiss that was anything but gentle. It was raw, hungry, all the frustration and desire I'd been keeping locked up finally spilling over.
She responded immediately, her arms wrapping around my neck, pulling me closer as if she couldn't get enough. Her body pressed against mine, and for a second, everything else faded away-the college, the rules, the consequences. It was just her, just us, and the fire between us that I couldn't control anymore.
