Chapter 3: First step of sleuthing

AN: Woohoo! Finally got to wtching the Hazbin Hotel and it was wild. Won't say much to those who haven't watched. But I can tell ya it did wonders for my inspiration to beat the writers block.

Chapter 3: First step of sleuthing 

I don't know what Zaira was complaining about, the Hazbin Hotel is actually preferable compared to that haunted house, we were assigned to once. It would look more like home if one of those residents would leave it messy but like some humans, she insists to be clean.

But enough about that, let's just say we found ourselves in a makeshift bed our size. Hard to say how long we were asleep after a long night. Me, Krumm and Oblina awoke to hear voices.

It was Zaira talking to the owner of the hotel, Princess Charlie. She's the daughter of the head honcho of Hell. Hard to believe because she's actually polite but too nice for her own good.

On the upside even demon sinners aren't immune to our scares. When we walked into the room, most of the residents reacted like any human we usually scare.

Well except for the red one.

"It's alright." reassured Zaira to the Hazbins,"Ickis, Krumm and Oblina won't hurt you. They'll only scare you, that's it."

Even both Vaggie and Charlie had to restrain both Angel and Sir Pentious from using weapons on the Monsters.

Quite a band of misfits in this Hazbin Hotel the princess runs. The grey woman is Vaggie, Charlie's GF. The tall white spider demon is Angel Dust, got good taste in a few jokes and pranks. Nifty is the short custodian that makes the hotel less cozy for us by cleaning it.

Husk the winged cat is some grump more interested in running the bar. Would be more gruel if he included slime or sludge for beverages.

The black snake is Sir Pentious, is sort of an inventor but speaks a bit like as if he were... what do you call 'em? An elitist.

Last but not least Alastor, the infamous Radio demon. Unpredictable, mysterious but is one of the few demons you don't want to mess with. According to Charlie, Sir Pentious learned the hard way when he tried to blow up the hotel with one of his large machines, only to see how powerful Alastor is when he uses his powers.

Zaira was more acquainted since she met the Hazbins before. Well most of them, according to her, she hasn't met Sir Pentious. From what we gathered, he recently joined the Hazbin Hotel. Kind of a long story but I'll tell ya about some othertime.

Anyway, so with Theo n Beth, we explained why we were in Hell, which involved the stolen dragonballs.

When we mentioned we sought Hades' the lord of the Grecian Underworld for help, one of them asked a good question.

"Wouldn't it be more preferable to ask the Fates? After all they said they're not supposed to reveal the future but not the past or present..."

Ickis then snarks pointing at Beth, "Ask her!"

Everyone looks at Beth, who just folds her arms stubbornly while glaring. "Well, I'm sorry! We were in a hurry and besides why ask the Fates, when I already know who stole the dragonballs!"

"You do not! You suspect, which is entirely different," corrected Oblina.

"Whatever." said Beth, "I have reason to believe it was them!"

Vaggie rolls her eyes at Beth's stubbornness, frustration evident on her face. "Beth, this is not the time for your hunches and playing detective. You're possibly dealing with powerful beings here, and you all need a solid plan, not a game of twenty questions."
