Chapter 16: Tea & Teeth

AN: Sorry for the Delay. I had gotten hooked with the second season of Hazbin Hotel despite a few nitpicks.

And I rest my case, I'm sticking to my plan since my story takes place during the events of season 1 of Hazbin Hotel and we're sorta somewhere in the beginning of Season 2 of Helluva Boss, (somewhere after episode 4 but before 5 & 6) just to clear things up.

For the record, when push comes to a shove I'm changing a few things.

Well we were lucky to get away, from Striker and avoid more trouble. But if that Fizzbot said is true, then Mammon or Satan may be on to us!! And Krumm said there more of them, it will be a matter of time before a horde of them swarm us.

But Beth insists on finding the rest of the dragonballs and that's another reason we were back in the secret tunnels.

Indeed Beth's group moved cautiously through the narrow passageways. The dim, flickering glow of Theo's enchanted flame lit the way, casting eerie shadows on the jagged walls. They had just left the Wrath Ring, their nerves still frayed from their recent close calls.

"Ok. We've managed to retrieve three Dragonballs so far." said Beth "we still have four more to find."

She glanced down at the Dragon Radar in her hand, its screen dim and silent. No new signals had appeared since their last retrieval.

Beth continued talking, "The radar's not picking up anything."

Theo frowned as she walked beside her, "That means the next Dragonball could be far off, or hidden somewhere shielded from detection."

"And that means we need to strategize where to go next."

The group paused at a fork in the tunnels. Theo squinted at the paths ahead.

Each ring had a designated color that matches the colors of the respective rings:

Pride: Red

Wrath: Orange

Gluttony: Yellow

Greed: Green

Lust: Blue

Envy: Purple

Sloth: Pink

And they all emerged from the wrath ring, now they had to figure out where to go next.

Theo thoughtfully said aloud, "We've ruled out the Envy, Sloth, and Gluttony Rings for now. The radar hasn't shown any signs there, and we've already scouted parts of those areas.

Beth crossing her arms, "Which leaves us with fewer options."

The atmosphere grew tense as they began to discuss their next move. Beth leaned against the tunnel wall, lost in thought for a moment. Finally, she spoke up.

Beth said firmly, "I think we should consider heading back to the Pride Ring. It's the capital of Hell, and it's crawling with Overlords. If anyone has information about the remaining Dragonballs, it's them."

Her words hung in the air like a challenge. Zaira, who had been quiet until now, suddenly stopped walking. She turned to Beth, her face pale and her voice sharp with irritation and fear.

"Are you crazy?!" Zaira snapped at Beth, "You want to go back to the Pride Ring to talk to the Overlords? Did you forget what happened to me, Sara, Yui and Nat last time?"

Beth raised an eyebrow but didn't interrupt as Zaira continued, her voice trembling with a mix of anger and fear.

Zaira sounding frustrated, said "Do I need to remind you that Sara, Yui, and I barely escaped Vox and Valentino? And hours ago, Angel had to distract Valentino just so we could reach the secret tunnels in the first place!"
