The monsters and the girls continued their trek with anticipation growing as they draw closer to their destination. The path was no big deal but it's when they finally reached the end of the path leading outside the tunnel that they see the Greed ring.
They emerged from the depths of the tunnel, greeted by the vibrant green hues of the greed ring. They take a moment to catch their breath, their eyes scanning the unfamiliar surroundings.
The Greed ring compared to the Pride ring was green, the sky was green colored as some of the land marks.But most of it was a rundown city and industrial area mostly one of those places with many polluted cities. And one of the billboard signs was questionable: Welcome to Nomafia Town; No mafia here! We're Mafia free!
The girls rolled their eyes "Yeah right."
As much as I hate to admite it, the Greed ring was a bit more like the human world but with more polution and everything's green, you should see the great garbage all around. Not that we were complaining...YET.
The monsters meanwhile just breathed in the scent of garbage and smoke fumes from the factory.
"It's not from earth but's not bad." Said Ickis, "Come one, fill you're lungs with the pollution the sinners can produce."
"Hellborn." Corrected Oblina "Sinners can't access the other rings"
"Whatever"
"Alright pitstop." Zaira announced "Refill your airsack and have your fill guys but be careful who knows what side effects from this garbage you might get since it's from the Greed ring."
Krumm dumped himself in the sewer slime. "Aah. The smell of sewage does wonders after such a long day."
Oblina scooped up some sludge to taste.
Yes, it was gross for human and other creatures but the girls aren't one to judge. Afterall to the monsters, the smell of flowers was intolerable.
Ickis, Krumm, and Oblina gulp down the last remnants of the putrid sludge, their stomachs filled with a strange mix of satisfaction and discomfort. Meanwhile, Zaira's unease grows, sensing that something is amiss in this seemingly deserted area. Beth and Theo stood watching in case of trouble.
Nearby some hellborns were dumping a large garbage bag, Ickis sees them as he hides exposing his fangs preparing to scare the demons.
He waited then grabbed on to an old boot and started chewing as the hellborn demons turned the corner. They had a look of shock and unease as they watched the monster chew the boot.
Ickis pretended to open his eyes and look at the hellborn demons then loomed making a scare pose and roared.
This did the trick, Ickis's scare tactic caused the hellborn demons to freak out and run, dropping the bag, revealing a gruesome sight. The group's initial horror quickly turns into a mix of shock and concern as they realize that the bag contains a lifeless body.
"Alright, we're full!" Said Ickis backing away along with Krumm and Oblina.
Ickis, Krumm, and Oblina hurriedly stepped away from the bag, their previous satisfaction replaced by a sense of unease. Theo's voice trembles as she speaks up.
"Uh, yeah, let's get going." Theo says, her voice quivering slightly.
Zaira and Beth nod in agreement.
"We shouldn't linger here any longer," Zaira says, her eyes fixed on the unsettling discovery of the body in the discarded bag.
Alright so we underestimated the Greed ring. How were supposed to know that they had mafia and gangs like the Taffy gang?? Zaira meanwhile said the dragonradar glitched breifly, so now what? Zaira tries suggesting we turn back to the pride ring, maybe we're safer there and have a better plan with the Hazbin's help.
