Fey: Just landed. But I messed up my time zones, and my ride thought I'd land at 4:30 AM, London time. 🤭 So, unless you want to make your favorite brother wait 3 hours at the airport...
Eda: You're an idiot.
Fey: Tell me something I don't know 😅
Eda: I can be there in thirty. Let me take a quick shower and leave some coffee brewing for Deniz.
Fey: Ah, Deniz. Your jerky boyfriend.

Eda pulled up at the door for international arrivals and saw Ferit standing with the phone to his ear. She was excited to see her brother after almost two years. She'd been away the few times he had visited Istanbul, primarily for work.
Eda honked, and Ferit noticed her. She waved madly at him from the driver's seat. Ferit smiled, immediately ending his phone call. Eda put the emergency lights on so she could leave her car and run to her brother to hug him. However, he turned and signaled someone to follow him before approaching her, stopping Eda in her tracks.
Eda wondered whether Ferit was alone.
Would her brother be bringing a girlfriend along?
He would have mentioned it when she asked him to pick him up.
Was this her surprise?
