Captain Zatur's crew decided to rest in the quarters that were available on the island for safety measures. The navigator forecasted unpleasant weather and it happened to be the direction of where the ship needed to go. As a result, the crew needed to stay on the closest island until the bad weather passed by.

While you were shopping around town with your fellow cooks, a man covered in a cloak from head to toe noticed you.

The man had an urge to draw his cards. While you were busy and unaware, he read the cards. When he was done, he bought a bottle of juice from the nearest stall.

" Excuse me?"

A male voice from behind made you automatically look back. Your eyes widened upon spotting the familiar long blond hair and unique eyebrows under that hooded cloak.

" B-Bas---"

" I'm not here as a threat. Instead, I bought you a drink." Basil Hawkins hands you a bottle but you are very hesitant to accept it. After all, he's a well-known pirate just like your brother.

" Y-you must have mistaken me for someone else. " You smiled nervously while looking around for your fellow cooks. Clearly, your chef uniform gave out the obvious that you're under the Marines which made it more crucial for you while facing a famous pirate.

" I apologize for scaring you but for some reason, something is telling me to give you this bottle of juice. However, if you don't trust this bottle, just don't drink anything for tonight." He reached for your hand and placed the bottle on your palm. His expression had shown nothing but that didn't help you to ease your worry. Hawkins just walked away after that.

Dusk came by fast through the horizon, people were now busy with preparing dinner and all.

"Hello? Please, someone." The navigator pleaded for someone to answer the transponder snail. She sneaked out from the quarters to get to the ship located on the port to have access to the main transponder snail.

"Uh, Captain Zatur? Wha--" The other line was cut off by the navigator who was already trembling.

"Send back up to this island, the map coordinates are 25.0000° N, 71.0000° W. Please hur-" She wasn't done explaining when a cold metal landed just right to her neck and a hand covered her mouth at the same time. The hand muffled her scream as the cold metal which is a blade slit her throat. It happened so suddenly that she was not able to defend herself from the person who did it.

The navigator's body fell on the floor with a thud, her head facing her murderer. With a little life she still had, she averted her eyes above and was met by a devilish grin from her Vice Captain.

"Hello? Hello?!" The person from the other line tried to call back the person who called them. The navigator is already unable to speak and only a drop of tear fell from her eye before losing her life. She's devastated for not being able to save her beloved crew and she regrets following orders from the Vice Captain.

Before the crew landed on the island, Mich instructed the navigator to convince the Captain that they needed to stay on a remote island. The bad weather is a successful excuse for the navigator to be able to follow Mich's instruction but it was her mistake to listen to Mich.

Mich didn't bother to hide the navigator's body since tonight will be everyone's last night. She walks back to the quarters casually as if nothing happened on the marine ship that was on the docks.

"Where's the navigator?" Captain Zatur asked his comrade who just arrived at the dining area.

"I don't know, I thought she's here with you?" Mich came back right in time to witness every one of the crew had finished eating dinner. However, you cheerfully greeted her with a covered plate.
