They say only the good die young
But now it's time for one of the best to rest
And on my life, I contest
Any age is too young to die
One year out of twenty-two
Was of him all I knew
My sister's best friend
An untimely end
I feel guilty for crying when I barely knew him
I have no right to cry
He had no right to die
It doesn't seem real,
How must my sister feel?
It's almost as painful to think of
We've never been close
But always there for each other
Simon and Maureen
As close as brothers
Si survived thank God
But he has to live with being behind the wheel
Maureen,
If you're looking down,
Protect him
He's only young
