Penny lay awake. She couldn't stop thinking about Harry. About everything he had confessed to but also everything he had been through.

Every thing that his whole family had been through. He explained it all. Why himself and Jo moved away, they needed to be closer to London for treatments and had the best physio therapist, who resided and worked in London. He wanted to prove that he could make it up to Jo, despite none of it being his fault, he needed to feel productive and like he was doing something to help.
Their parents stayed in Cheshire. They loved it there and neither Harry or Jo wanted to ruin what their parents had built. Many arguments and fall outs later, it was settled and they moved.

He also explained that he would perform pretty regularly before the accident. He loved it. He could get up on a stage and perform like no one was watching. After however, it's like his bottle had gone along with his passion.

"You brought it back Penn. Just being around you and your light. Music was a way for me to encapsulate you and what you did to me. And what you continue to do to me."
Harry had admitted, whilst the two of them lay side by side on his bed that evening.
That's also how they were now. Harry's tall frame lay squished up against Penn from behind. Their legs tangled together and his arms draped around her torso.
He was snoring softly while Penny couldn't turn off her brain.

So much had happened in such a short amount of time. So much chaos yet so much peace also. But what is chaos without peace and vice versa.

She replayed every little moment that had happened. Every laugh, every smile, every tear and every stomach dropping moment that made her heart ache.
And the moment she'd been avoiding...

The truth bomb that Cami had dropped not even twenty four hours ago.
She hadn't mentioned anything to Harry. It would only cause him more upset and that's the last thing he needed right now.

How do you drop into conversation that your camp counsellor had lied.
About everything.
...

Penny shot her eyes open at the sound of Jo wheeling herself into the kitchen. She sighed and yawned, stretching also but being met with no warm body next to her.
Harry was gone.

She sat up quickly, looking around the room. Harry's room. A guitar and keyboard sat in one corner. Many books were scattered around the room but some also sat on a bookshelf. He also had a pile of clothes stacked on his desk chair and some in his washing basket.

Penny pulled the covers off of her body, shivering slightly at the change in temperature. She did only have on Harry's shirt and her underwear. She scanned the room for her own trousers before pulling them on. Her phone sat on the bedside table, plugged in. The charger was pulled out and her phone tucked into the trouser pocket.

Before long Penny made her way out of the room and into the kitchen. She found Jo and Harry speaking in hushed tones but stopping when she entered.

"Morning." Penny mumbled with a shy smile.

"Morning Penny." "Morning Penn." Jo and Harry spoke in unison.

"How did you sleep?" Harry placed the mug he was holding, down onto the counter before making his way over. Standing in front of her, he placed his hands on her arms.

"I was going to ask you that." Penny laughed softly as she looked up at him. He looked exhausted, tired and puffy eyes but still handsome. He always did look handsome, even at his worst.
Harry chuckled back.
