Ed tells him that he wants to go on a date with him, But Bruce tells him that he already has plans with his 'girlfriend' and the 'girlfriend is revealed none other than, Selina Kyle (before becoming Catwoman).

The moon cast a dim glow over the deserted college alleyway as Bruce Wayne stood with a stoic expression, his sharp gaze fixed on the figure approaching him. Ed Nashton, with a mischievous glint in his eyes, stepped forward, twirling a question mark-shaped cane in his hand.
Bruce raised an eyebrow, his demeanor unyielding. "Nashton, Why did you call me over here?"
Ed chuckled, his tone playful. "I've been wanting to tell you Bruce Wayne that, I wanted to go on a date with you."
Bruce, ever the enigma, sighed and finally spoke. "Sorry, Ed, I'm already going on a date with my girlfriend."
Ed's eyes widened in surprise. "Wait, What? Who the hell is your girlfriend? ?"
A mysterious smile played on Bruce's lips as he turned to face the shadows behind him. Emerging into the dim light was none other than Selina Kyle, her presence commanding attention.
She then introduced herself to Ed with a mischievous smile " Hello, Edward! I'm Selina Kyle, Bruce Wayne's girlfriend."
