chaoter twelve: bad idea

"MELODY!" Daniel says running and hugging me. I haven't seen him in ages. Partly because of Max. They don't get along. Max thinks he's a bad influence on me. He's not. We just have fun. I hug him tight, "Ive miss you dickhead" i say giggling. He tickles me, "I've missed you too Mels" he says taking a seat. We're sat in a private room of a restaurant. "What have you been up to" i say taking a sip of my drink. He smiles, "Everything" he says winking at me.

"I'm offended I haven't been invited" I say grinning. He laughs, "We wouldn't want Max to think you're an alcoholic again" he says grinning at me. Maybe Max is right about Daniel. But I don't care. "Plus you haven't exactly reached out to me before now" he says taking a sip of his pint. "I've been busy" I lie. We sit drinking and chatting for a while. To the point where both of us are seemingly drunk.

"And then we chased the guy down the street and you ran into a pole" Daniel says in fits of laughter. I snort my drink out my nose, and he laughs even harder. "Well I was so very drunk and high" I slur. He laughs. "Speaking off high. What do you fancy a bit this?" He asks whipping out a packet of edibles. I gasp, "Daniel you can't bring that here" I say giggling. I always giggle when I'm drunk. "It will be fun" he says sliding me one under the table. I should probably not do this. "Cmon Mels. Where's your backbone gone?" He jokes. I roll my eyes and eat it quickly. He slides one in his mouth and swallows it. "How about a cheeky walk down to the club?" He asks me winking. "Daniel it's 4pm" I say laughing. He smiles, "I know a place" he says. I get up and follow him out of the restaurant. Us both in fits of giggles.

We start walking down the street chatting and he pops another one in. "Daniel" I gasp jokingly. He smiles, "Loosen up mate" he says nudging me. I roll my eyes. We continue walking till we meet this place. A club almost. Definitely a secret club though...

We go to the bar and grab another few drinks, and shots downing them instantly. To be honest the whole time is a blur. That's when the drugs start to hit. My whole body feels free and I feel like I can fly. It's great. Daniel takes some hilarious photos of me that i upload to my instagram.
