Chapter 37

(Katie's POV)

"I say we invite everyone over for a mini party." Nash suggests, Stassie and I look over at him confused.

"Ya know? All of our closest friends over for a movie." He says, I shrug looking at Stassie who is looking at me.

"Sure, I'll call Madison over right now because she's got Halley and I want to spend some time with her." I tell Nash standing up, he nods and I walk into the living room, I grab my phone and unlock it, I click on Madison's contact and it rings until she finally picks up.

"Yo?" She asks me and I laugh.

"Do you still have Halley?" I ask her.

"Yeah, I was actually about to take her to Matthews, but if you want her." She tells me.

"Yeah, I do because we're having a big movie night with everyone tonight so, tell Cameron to spread the word and you guys come too." I tell her.

"Alright, I'll be over there in five minutes." She tells me happily, I say goodbye and we hang up.

"Hey." I hear Hayes' voice from behind me, I jump and turn around.

"You scared me." I grumble sitting down on the couch, he laughs and sits beside me.

"So, we're having moving night tonight? And I'm gonna see Halley?" He smiles widely, I nod and smile at how happy she makes him I wish I made him that happy.

"Maybe we can spend a day alone before I leave, maybe we can even tell her I'm her dad." He suggests and I shake my head.

"If she knew that she'd never let you leave, or she'll wanna come with you." I tell him, his smile goes down and then he looks down.

"But, I will think about spending the day together, it sounds nice." I smile imagining us having a good time with our kid just makes me fall in love with him even more and I can't go back.

"I love you, Hayes." I smile up at him, he looks down at me and smiles as well.

"I love you too, Katilyn." He smiles down at me, I smile and lean into his chest.

"Hayes." I barely whisper.

"Yeah?" He asks whispering as well.

"You're my hero." I smile.

"Aww, you're mine too." He smiles slightly, I give him a confused look.

"Every time I thought about hurting myself." He starts to say, I sadden my eyes.

"I'd think about you." He smiles looking down, I smile widely, I lift his chin and we're both smiling really widely.

"God Hayes, I love you." I say looking into his blue eyes.

"I love you too." He whispers back, we both look into each other's eyes.

"What's wrong?" Hayes asks me snapping me from my thoughts by grabbing my hand.

"Oh nothing." I smile shaking my head, he smiles softly at me and nods.

"Ok, beautiful." He says looking back up, I love it when he calls me beautiful.

"Hey." He whispers while holding me up by my thighs, and I laugh out of breath.

"Hey." I whisper back, we're both out of breath from laughing and running, I put my forehead against his, and our noses touch, we looking into each other's eyes, Then I feel his soft lips on mine.

I felt fireworks, like my whole world just exploded, our lips start to move in sync, but then I remember he has Olivia.

"I'm sorry." I say to him, breaking the kiss.

"Why should you be sorry?" He asks me, I shake my head getting out of his arms.

"Because you just cheated on Olivia with a slut like me." I answer turning around, he grabs my hand and spins me around.

"Your not a slut, your beautiful, kind, funny, smart... did I mention gorgeous as hell?" He laughs, I can't help but smile until he smashes his lips onto mine.

I wake up in Hayes' arms, of course he was shirtless, I smile and poke his nipple.

"I was waiting for you to wake up." He says with a gentle smile.

"Aww, you could've gotten up." I say.

"Nah, plus this was comfortable." He says tightening his grip around me.

"Hayessss." I whine, while laughing.

"That's my name, don't wear it out babe." He chuckles, letting go of me.

"Ooo, Hayes, look there is a bracelet stand, let's get some, you know bff bracelets." I smile pointing at a little shack on the sidewalk.

"That's a little too girly." He laughs shaking his head.

"Oh well." I smile and take his hand leading him to the shack, I immediately start looking at all of bracelets.

"How about this one?" I smile holding up two that are pink and blue.

"Too traditional." He says shaking his head.

"True." I nod my head and put it back, He starts to scan the bracelets as well, He sees one and smiles, He picks it up and jiggles our hands.

"How bout this one?" He smiles as I turn my head to him.

"Together Forever, Never Apart, sounds a little cheesy, but okay." I laugh.

"Thank you." I say smiling at the cashier and taking the bracelets from her, we enclose our hands together and walk to the end of the pier.

"Here ya go." I laugh giving him his bracelet.

"You put it on." He whines, I shake my head and laugh taking the bracelet and putting it on his wrist.

"Let me see yours." He smile, I nod and hand it to him.

"Katie, this shows I'll never leave you, and hopefully you'll never leave me." He smiles and clips it on my wrist.

I nod and give him a hug, He wraps his arms around my back and picks me up into a hug.

I sigh thinking back on the memories as I lean into Hayes' cologned chest, I look up at him and see he's gone to sleep, I smile and kiss his jaw before falling asleep myself.
