The child was starring at me from across the mall. Her eyes as wide as saucers and her fingers dance in her lap. Her legs were crossed and she wore a pink sun dress even though it was October. She looked to be about five but the way she sat made it seem as though she was more mature than even myself. I swear I've seen her before, although I can't recall where. She turns around to look at her mother, who was about as tall as I and her hair touched the ground. She asks her mother something that I can't hear and her mother responds with a slight nod of her head. She turns around facing me and suddenly-
"Clarissa!" An obnoxious voice like nails on a chalk board snaps me out of my day dream. I had forgot I wasn't actually there in the mall. I had forgot I was in math. I had forgotten it was all just a dream. I look to my right and sitting there is Jane. A short girl with the smallest of faces. She was wearing a pink sundress. My teacher, Mrs.Gold was about my height and had hair that touched the floor. Strange, I thought they looked almost identical to the characters I had met at the mall. Well, I hadn't really met them just seen them. I didn't really see them it was all just a dream. It always is and even when everything seizes to exist and nothing is left and all is lost, we will always have our dreams.
