I'm sitting in my room, extremely bored when I think of something. I never did find out what my mom was talking about and who to that time that she accidentally called me. Then I think of another thing. I haven't heard my mom in a bit, maybe she's on the phone. So I use my thinking and grab the nearest phone. Sure enough the phone says 'in use'. I pick up the phone, hoping my mom won't see the 'conference' that comes up on the phone screen. At first all I hear is words and voices. I can't make sense of anything. Then I can make out what they're saying.
My moms sort of Scottish voice says, "I'll get you the check by Sunday, Ian."
"You'd better. I would hate to have to take Clarissa away from you."
I notice many things at once. One, this is the same person I was speaking to on the phone earlier today. Two, they want to take me away. Three, my mom doesn't argue. She just says,
"Yes, I know. I would hate for that to happen. I'm trying the best I can to find her."
"Your powers are stronger than your daughters, but she is realizing them at a younger age. If we can train her now-"
"Only if I can't find the girl you're looking for."
"Yes, I'm aware of our agreement. I have to go, I will speak to you of this later." Without waiting for a response, Ian hangs up. I do to, if Ian hangs up and my mom sees the phone is still on, she'll know I was spying on them. After I hang up the phone, I hear my mom walking upstairs. For some reason though, I can't put down the phone. Maybe shock, I'm not sure. But my mom comes upstairs and sees me with the phone and knows I was listening to her conversation. At first we just look at each other- then I push past her out my bedroom door. I run downstairs and quickly pull on my boots and coat. I run out the door- not sure where I'm going. I can hear my mom running after me, but I am faster than her.
"Clarissa, wait!" She yells.
But I do not wait. I keep running and don't know when I'll ever stop, or if I will, but I keep running.

I find myself at the corner of Queen and Diary, where I saw the man take the girls heart not too long ago. I am not alone. There's a boy and a girl standing in the shadows, they step out as I approach them.
"Who are you?" I ask.
"The names Ian, this is Jordan."
I just stare at them for a bit. "You're the ones who called me and sent me here earlier this week. How did you know I'd be here now?"
"We know you."
"How?"
Ian smirks. Jordan answers my question,
"We've been spying on you." She shrugs. "It's what we do."
"That is extremely creepy and rude." I respond. They just laugh.
"We can't be here long, we have places to be, people to see. But before we leave there is something we must tell you," Starts Jordan.
Ian finishes with, "Keep dreaming." Then they're gone, retreating back into the shadows.

I take their advice. What do I have to lose? My mom will probably have the cops after me soon anyways. So, I dream...

I'm in a meadow. There's a small log cabin about a tennis courts length away from me. There's no smoke coming from the chimney and it's freezing outside so I assume no one is home. I slowly walk towards the cabin, the door is open and oddly familiar. The interior is bright, but I don't see any lights so I don't know where the brightness is coming from.
There's another door open inside the house, there is no light coming from it. I enter the room and see it's a bedroom. To my surprise all my stuff is there. It's an exact replica of my bedroom at home.

I snap out of my dream and realize what it was showing me. Those spy people took my stuff and put it in a log cabin somewhere. I think I know where it might be. I start heading in that direction, hoping I was right about the location of this cabin.
