Jesse and I listen closely to the man speaking on the other end of the phone. He says,
"We have gathered some intel on The Silent Killers. All we have is a name. We do not think its the name of the man in charge but it is probably one of his trustees. The name we have found is Abraham Harverd. Do you research, find out as much as you can about this man, then report back to The Counteracters at once."
The line goes dead.
"Abraham Harverd?" Asks Jesse.
"Abraham Harverd." I confirm. Jesse looks at me with a strange expression.
"This will be dangerous." He says slowly, "If you want to back out now I understand-"
"Hey! Don't even suggest I back out now. They have my parents, they have my dreams they have taken over my life and I will not stop until they have been taken down."
Jesse smiles. "I was hoping you would say that."

Days would go by when I wasn't happy at all. Then weeks would go by when I was. As we fly through the clouds I take a moment and smile. My dreams are where I m happy. As long as they aren't being hijacked by my evil spy parents, they were all mine. Lately I've associated them with death and fear but now they're better. I look over at Jesse flying beside me and ask him,
"Why aren't we looking for Abraham Harverd?"
"We will." He said, "But we aren't going anywhere until you get your feelings under control. The last thing we need is your dreams getting out of hand."
"You really care. Why?"
"Let's just say I wasn't delivering a note to Mr.Bruns when I ran into you." He says and blushes.
"What do you mean? Why did you lie?" I ask gently.
"To be quite honest I wanted an excuse to talk to you."
"You needed an excuse?"
"I didn't know you."
"Now you do?"
"Yeah." He says and leans in and kisses me.
///////////////////////
I typed vigorously on the keys of the computer at the public library. Jesse puts his hands over mine.
"You're going to break the keys."
"You kissed me."
"Why are you upset?"
"I'm supposed to be focusing to save my parents and save the world and stuff and you go and kiss me!"
I slam my head down onto the keys and just leave it there. I feel Jesse put his hand on my back.
"I'm sorry I shouldn't have done that, but are you really mad?"
I look up at him and smile.
Slowly I stand up and lean in, ready to kiss him when a familiar voice behind me says,
"What are you doing with my daughter?" Standing behind me is my dad with a cruel, chilly smile on his face.
