When I was a little girl my mom used to take me to the park a lot. She said fresh air was good for you. My favourite part of the park was the swings. I loved the feeling of free falling, like I was flying...
I wake up with a gasp. Something cold is stinging my face and my eyes. My hair whips around me and my arms and legs are numb. I open my eyes. All I see is a mix of blue and white. I assume my eyes are just adjusting but I realize with a start that what I'm seeing is a sky full of clouds. I open my mouth to scream but nothing comes out. In free falling through the sky at full speed to the ground.

"The girl is making great progress."
"My daughter has a name."
"Right of course." Ian looks up at the woman in front of him and smiles.
"Who are you to be smiling? My daughter is falling towards the ground at full speed and clearly she can't stop it! She's not ready."
"Marilyn. Your daughter will be fine." It was the first time in a long time Marilyn had been called by her first name. Clarissa called her "mom" and she barely ever talked to any other adults. Well in this case young adults.
"Fine. We'll just have to give her a little incentive." Ian smiles and presses a button on the control board in front of him. Suddenly another object appears in the sky with Clarissa. A little girl, no older then six. She's screaming and crying. Clarissa turns and sees the little girl flying through the sky with her.
"No!" She screams. She reaches out her hand and grabs the little girl, pulling her towards her. She holds her tight and closes her eyes. Clearly focusing on a dream. Her mouth moves as she comfortes the girl. Then they're gone. One moment they're falling through the sky and the next they're gone.
"Where are they?" Marilyn panics.
"Don't worry. Clarissa did it. She saved them. She is ready."

"Hey, what's your name?" I look down at the little girl in my arms. She doesn't answer me, just stares up at me with big eyes. I look around me, I know exactly where we are. It's the first place I thought of.
"Okay, we have to get out of-" suddenly a noise comes from somewhere to my left. I'm in the cabin I had been in before. Pictures of me are still everywhere. It smells like smoke and the logs in the fireplace are smoking. Someone had been here very recently. Judging by the tipped over bucket with water still dripping from it, right beside the fireplace, they were here very recently.
"Come on..." I urge the young girl to her feet. I guide her into the bedroom and shut the door. I move the bed and dresser infront of it. I turn around to ask the girl if she's alright but she's gone. I panick and search the entire room for her but she's nowhere to be seen. Suddenly a bright light flashes under the door and I heard footsteps. Someone's coming! I think. I look around the room to find a place to hide and go for the closet. I close the door and listen. The footsteps are definitely getting closer. I close my eyes and just think. So, I have magical powers that allow me to dream very vivid, possibly real dreams. They also allow me to teleport. There's this guy who steals people's hearts and the constant reoccurrence of a red mahogany door with my name written in gold on the front. Also I was free falling through the sky with a young girl who later disappears out of thin air. These are all pieces to a very large puzzle. Just when I think the cost is clear and I can leave my hiding place there's a loud bang. Someone's trying to open the door. I hope the bed and dresser will keep then out, but then what? I stay here forever. But I won't have to worry about that because I hear the footsteps emerge into the room and can count six, maybe seven people.
"Are you sure she's in here, Gil?"
Gil. I recognize that name from somewhere I just can't remember exactly where.
"She's not here, sir." A female voice says. I'm so thankful they didn't find me I accidentally let a little sigh of relief out. Everything goes quiet and I know I've been caught.
"Gil, go see what that was." The man who appears to be in change orders. Footsteps approach the door and it opens, to my surprise and horror the person standing in front of me is my old friend Gil, whom I used to come to this cabin with and I had thought died in a car crash. We make eye contact for a quick second and just look at each other, then he grabs me by my wrists and forcefully leads me out of the closet to face the crowd around me. My eyes open wide as I realize I know all of the people standing in front of me. Gil, my father, Stachey, Mrs.Gold, Jane, Ian and Jordan. Also I see Jesse and for some reason I'm not sure I blush when I see him. And, I gasp as I realize there is one more person amongst them.
"Mom?"
