You know that moment when everything just makes sense? Before it was all jumbled up in your head like some tornado of craziness but now the tornado has stopped and has dropped everything it was carrying. The pieces are everywhere but at least they're on the ground. That's what I feel like now. I know many different figures from my life have been possessed and trying to get me to join them. I know I have the ability to travel to different places through this always morphing hallway. Also, I probably have a ton of homework to catch up on. As I'm lying here, staring at the ceiling all I can think is "How did I get into this mess?". I can't find an answer for that question. I take a deep breath and try to stand up, but I can't.
"Hello?!" I call out. "Is anyone there?!" I hear footsteps and some muffled voices but can't understand anything. The last thing I remember is a giant gust of wind knocking me off my feet then this thing coming up to me and dragging me away, kicking and screaming. But no one heard. Because no one was around. The middle of a Saturday in a suburban area and not a single kid was playing at the park or mother going for a morning run. Nothing makes sense but at the same time it all makes perfect sense. Then I hear it, a heavy dragging and scratching sound. It's coming towards me. The same beast that dragged me from the park. He's here!

The voices come into focus. I recognize one voice as that of the kings. He sounds tired, but not temporarily tired, he sounds like he'll be tired forever. I also hear the queen, she's crying. Someone has died. I hear the princess screaming and blaming me for what happened, saying it was my fault and that the prince was a fool for loving me. Then I remember. I remember the prince dying in my arms, his blood on my dress, the knights bringing me back so they could blame me for his murder. I remember the horrible pain that came when my eyes were removed from head, slowly, by the hand of the king. My hands and feet being chopped off, the scars from the whip. I remember it all. The group begins to settle down, and I hear many footsteps coming close. There's a crowd of people coming, most likely to discus my fate. Soon there are voices all around me and someone yells out, "The meeting will begin!" An eery silence falls over the crowd. Then the king speaks,
"This traitor has been identified as the murderer of my son, the prince, and your future king. She has suffered the same fate as other traitors in the past. But, we feel she has not felt enough pain to make up for our loss!"
The crowd hoots, hollers and screams in agreement. All I can do is sit and wait to hear my fate.
