Hailey and Jay Halstead are partners in the intelligence unit. Alongside their co-workers. They had a very strong bond. Partnership, and relationships. Throughout their relationship. They decided to get married in a courthouse. Without telling anyone. And. Since then, their marriage has been nothing but happiness.

It was morning. Jay was still asleep, but he reached his arm out. Hoping he'll find Hailey next to him. But got met with a empty bed.

Jay sat up, and looked at the bed clock. Noticing the four digit numbers.

06:40

"Hailey?" Jay called.

Jay noticed Hailey's clothes were gone. Which meant she left already.

As Jay looked around. He noticed no note. Or any sign to where Hailey might be. To be honest. He was worried.

Jay got his clothes on. And left the apartment.

Soon. Jay arrived. And that's when he noticed Hailey in the car with Voight.

Jay could only stand in his place. And watch as Hank drove into his parking space.

The doors opened. Hailey got out the passenger side. And Hank got out of the driver's side.

"Hey, You left early?" Jay spoke up.

Hailey nodded, and spoke.

"Yeah. You looked adorable when you sleep. I couldn't bring myself to wake you." Hailey explained.

Jay chuckled. He knew something was behind Hailey's lie.

"Let's Go!" Hailey smiled.

Hailey and Jay walked into the bullpen, and sat at their desks.

Later on. The unit were finishing the last bits of their paperwork. Whereas Hailey was still doing it.

"I'm beat! Molly's?" Adam offered up.

Kim logged herself off. And spoke.

"Can't. Mack has that sleepover. Remember?" Kim smirked.

Adam being Adam. Didn't pick up on Kim's hint.

"Sleepover? Mack didn't tell me?" Adam shook his head.

The unit all giggled. Kevin explained to Adam.

"Adam. Kim wants to have sex..." Kevin spoke up.

Adam looked at his wife. And spoke to everyone.

"Well. Goodnight." Adam smiled.

The unit all said their goodnights. And Jay looked at Hailey.

"Babe. You coming? We can get takeout?" Jay suggested.

Hailey looked up, and shook her head.

"No. You go on home. I got some more paperwork to do." Hailey responded.

Jay knew something was going on between Hailey and Hank. And he didn't like it.

"Hmm. Okay? See you at home..." Jay smiled.

Hailey nodded, and continued typing.

Jay looked once more at his wife. And left the district.

Soon. Jay was at the apartment. Snuggled up into duvets. While drinking some wine.

Jay: Babe. I'm at the back entrance. Where are you?

Hailey: Sorry. I lost track of time. Voight's driving us in now.

Jay: Okay. Be quick!
