The unit were in the bullpen. Completing some paperwork. Which they missed from their last case. But. Jay wasn't well.

Jay was asleep at his desk. Papers everywhere. He looked an unwell mess.

"Jay? Hey." Erin whispered.

Jay startled awake, and rubbed his eyes.

"What's up? I only rested my eyes for a minute...?" Jay defended.

Erin scoffed, and filed all the papers.

"A Minute? You were conked out. For about two hours. What's going on?" Erin asked.

Jay sat up, and realised that wasn't a good idea.

"Nothing! Just need some water..." Jay spoke softly.

Erin nodded, and handed Jay a water bottle.

"Jay. You look pale. Can I get you to Med?" Erin bargained.

Jay shook his head, and drank his water.

"No. No. I'll be fine. It's a small bellyache." Jay reassured.

Erin sighed. She knew Jay was covering his pain.

"Okay! Just promise me. You won't go to far..." Erin pleaded.

Jay smiled, and nodded.

"I promise!" Jay promised.

Erin hummed, and walked to her desk.

Once. Erin was at her desk. Jay snuck some gum into his mouth. Hoping it'll calm the sickness.

"Halstead! Borrow you?" Hank asked.

Jay looked at Hank. And nodded.

"Yeah. Sure!" Jay smiled.

Jay got up, and walked towards the office.

Hank closed the door, and sat on his chair.

"So, how you doing?" Hank asked.

Jay Just nodded. He was in too much pain. To give a full sentence.

"You good. Kid?" Hank wondered.

Jay leant his arms on the vacant chair. And lied his head on his arms.

"Hey. Kid? What's going on?" Hank asked concerned.

Jay took a deep breath, and looked up.

"N-Nothing. I'm good..." Jay lied.

Hank felt Jay's forehead. And spoke.

"Your burning up. Jay!" Hank exclaimed.

Jay pinched the roof of his nose, and puked.

"Okay! Let's get you to Med. Kid." Hank whispered.

Hank walked out with Jay. Leaning on his shoulder.

"Adam. Bring my truck round. We're taking Halstead to Med." Hank ordered.

Adam caught the keys, and rushed downstairs.

"I'm here. Bubbas..." Erin pouted.

Jay closed his eyes, and whimpered.

"I know. Buddy!" Hank pouted.

Hank walked downstairs, holding a whimpering Jay.

"Bud. What hurts?" Antonio asked.

Jay opened his eyes, and spoke.

"Stomach. Worse." Jay mumbled.

Antonio looked at Erin for confirmation.

"I found. Jay asleep at his desk. He said. He had a small bellyache. I thought he was gonna be okay..." Erin explained.
