"So, I can borrow your car?" Mouse asked.
Erin finished signing Jay's card. And nodded.
"Yeah. You can borrow whatever you want. Make sure it's brought back before nine. Or. Jay will know it's missing." Erin explained.
Mouse nodded, and took the pen and card back.
"Got it! Thanks!" Mouse smiled.
Erin nodded, and Jay walked in.
"What's going on?" Jay asked.
Erin. And Mouse looked at Jay, and stayed silent.
"Nothing. Just discussing last night's case." Erin lied.
Jay crossed his arms, and smirked.
"Hmm. Okay?" Jay suspiciously asked.
Erin nodded at Mouse. And left the locker room.
Once. Erin left. Jay looked at Mouse.
"You better not be planning me a surprise party..." Jay started.
Mouse shook his head. He tried hiding the fact that he was.
"Honest!" Mouse nodded.
Jay smirked, and threatened.
"I know where you live..." Jay threatened.
Mouse was scared now. He almost forgot Jay was a cop.
After Awhile. Mouse was bringing Jay's birthday cake to the car.
Mouse was unlocking his car. When someone tapped him on the shoulder.
"Excuse me?" Yates whispered.
Mouse turned round. And got knocked out.
Once. Mouse was out. He fell on Yates's shoulder. While the cake dropped from his hands.
Yates held Mouse. And shoved him in the car.
The door slammed closed. And Yates got into the driver's side.
Yates drove off. Leaving a smashed birthday cake on the ground.
At the district. Hank. Erin. And Jay. Walked upstairs. After being out on a long case. Involving - Yates.
"Alright! Get Mouse to triangulate Yates's possible location..." Hank ordered.
Hank was hoping to hear Mouse say his usual phrase. But he didn't.
"Where's Mouse?" Hank asked.
Jay looked over at Mouse's desk. And saw nothing.
"Erin? You were with Mouse last. Where was he going?" Jay wondered.
Erin sighed. She didn't wanna tell Jay. But she knew he needed to know.
"Mouse was going to pick up your birthday cake. Jay." Erin admitted.
Jay sighed, and walked over to his desk phone.
"I'm sure. Mouse is fine? What's the worse that could happen? It's Mouse!" Erin exclaimed.
Jay banged his phone down, and looked at Hank.
"It's gone straight to voicemail." Jay whispered.
Hank opened, and closed the desk drawer. And spoke.
"Yates has Mouse. We know. Get the unit back here." Hank ordered.
Jay nodded, and messaged everyone.
The messages reached the unit. And they all arrived.
