It had been two days since Mouse's death. And Jay wasn't coping that well.
Jay was in the kitchen. Pouring the coffee in the coffee cup. While eyeing up the bottle of Vodka.
The coffee overfilled. And spilt over Jay's hand.
"Damn!" Jay whispered.
Jay put the cup down, and wiped the spilt coffee.
As Jay threw the tissue in the garbage. He took the calendar off the fridge.
A line of photos were on Jay's fridge. Mouse and Jay posing, while drinking beers in a nightclub.
Jay opened the fridge. And took out the bottle of Juice.
The fridge shut automatically. And Jay left the apartment.
Jay soon arrived at the district. And walked up the stairs.
"Halstead!" Trudy smiled.
Jay walked over, and smiled.
"I kept thinking. "I'm gonna see our techno whiz." But. I'm not..." Trudy sniffled.
Jay couldn't say anything, he looked at the ground.
"I gotta get back upstairs..." Jay nodded.
Trudy wiped her nose with her tissue, and spoke.
"Okay..." Trudy whispered.
Jay walked upstairs, and buzzed himself in.
As Jay walked upstairs. The Boys were packing Mouse's things.
"Hey! We Just thought we'd help you..." Antonio spoke up.
Jay nodded, and walked to his desk.
"Hey. That's My Long Jacket..." Erin smirked.
Jay didn't pick up on Erin's sarcasm. He normally did. He wasn't feeling it today.
"Oh! You can have it back..." Jay replied.
Erin shook her head, and spoke.
"No! No! You can wear it..." Erin reassured.
Jay smiled, and logged onto his computer.
"Here's a coffee. As well as a muffin..." Kim smiled.
Jay took the items gratefully, and thanked Kim.
"Thanks..." Jay smiled.
Kim kissed Jay's head sisterly, and walked back to her desk.
Once. Kim was gone. Erin sat on Jay's desk.
"Guess what?" Erin whispered.
Jay sipped his coffee, and spoke.
"What? What's going in that little Lindsay brain?" Jay smirked.
Erin laughed softly, and spoke.
"I think. Liv and Hank hooked up!" Erin smiled.
Jay spit out his coffee, and coughed.
"Eww! Halstead!" Erin groaned.
Jay cleaned his mouth, and spoke.
"Sorry! Liv and Hank? Their new ship name - Link." Jay named.
Erin chuckled, and spoke.
"Someone's perked up!" Erin smiled.
Jay smiled, and nodded.
"Erin. Is your dad in?" Olivia asked.
Erin couldn't contain her smile. She nodded.
"Yep! In his office!" Erin smirked.
Olivia nodded, and walked towards the office.
"What's tickled your fancy?" Sonny asked.
Erin and Jay giggled, and spoke.
"Sun. Nothing for you to worry your little head about!" Erin laughed.
Amanda walked up to Sonny, and squeezed his shoulder.
"Don't take it personally. Babe." Amanda whispered.
Sonny sighed, and sat at the empty desk.
"We're Looking for Yates. Now..." Fin replied.
Jay nodded. He was glad someone had Yates on a tail.
Soon. The unit were all looking at a case. While Jay slept in the breakroom.
"How is he?" Adam asked.
Erin slowly shut the door. And spoke.
"Cup of warm milk. Conked right out." Erin smiled.
The unit all awed. They knew Erin could settle Jay in any situation.
Erin smiled, and walked to her desk. Finishing her paperwork.
Later on. Erin and Jay arrived home. And fell asleep.
