Dr. Kingstin's POV

I wanted to keep Ms. Rayers close to me, so urging her to accompany me was part of my desire for her, even though I could have just let her to attend her final lesson. I took my personal elevator not only to get there quickly, but also to ensure that it was just the two of us in the elevator. I need her so close.

When we arrived, I could sense a spark in her eyes. She absolutely adores this area. I entered all of the codes to access my elevator, and she was surprised by the many systems. When she sees something fascinating, her eyes squint, and it is so fucking hot.

When we got inside and I used my fingerprint to seal the doors, she opened her wonderful mouth and told me how secure it is because it leads to my office. You know, sometimes she says these things just to let you know she knows, and I admire that about her, which is why I commended her. I couldn't help but tease her because she looked so attractive.

"I can't help but notice the way you look at me and I call tell what you want Miss Rayers; you are very readable and it makes me want to tease you more."

I'm not sure what happened, but I found myself connected to her body, trailing kisses all over her, and she appeared to be lost as well, implying that she was loving it. Fuck, she said my name. The way my name glided off her mouth, knowing that it was I who made her reach ecstasy so effortlessly, that she dared to say my name without any formality, was incredible. If we hadn't been so near to my office floor, I would have completely lost it.

The elevator came to a stop, and I completed adjusting myself before Ms. Rayers, so I politely waited for her to finish before opening the doors. After apologizing to Daniel, we held the meeting, and because it was already late and didn't look like it was going to end soon, I called it off so I could drive her home. Little did I know it would end the way it did.

After the doctors left Ms. Rayers approached us, and I couldn't help but admire her, but what happened next was the beginning. I was ready to introduce her to Daniel when she decided to do it herself.

She blurted out, "Oh, professor, are you not going to introduce me properly to this fine specimen of a man?"

I was taken aback, not because of the statement, but because I realized she wasn't acting and was speaking with sincerity, and that's when my entire mood changed. To make things worse. Daniel played along with her, and I couldn't take it anymore. So I smashed my file on the table to jolt them back into reality. Man, I was so angry and said.

"Daniel, how are we going to resolve this?" I stated it simply to end whatever was going on.

But Daniel had the guts to ask her for her opinion, and she eagerly gave him her best try, coming up with a fantastic suggestion as always, but my mind was preoccupied with how all of this was done to please Daniel. So when she looked at me with those gorgeous eyes and asked for my opinion, I acted like a jerk and completely and coldly rejected her perfect idea.

"Not at all." I answered.

I could tell after that statement, She was devastated and on the edge of tears. Did I actually do this to her? I stood up from my chair and told Daniel that her proposal would not work, and then turned to her with a cold expression and asked,

"Are you coming or not?"

It was how she didn't reply that got me. Ms. Rayers grabbed up her belongings and told Daniel good night, stating that she was going home alone. That cut me, but what crushed me was seeing her fall to the floor and wail before the elevator doors closed. That was when I realized that my actions had broken her. How to fix them I really don't know.
