After Aelora was named heir, her and Aemond had been constantly avoiding one another, even though they're betrothed, Aelora often faced conflict with him, they could never find a way to have a civil conversation, on Aemonds behalf he does have a very good reason.

However, Aelora wanted to make amends with her betrothed, she knew that one day they would get married, they may not love one another but they would have to be civil. Aelora walked around the castle scuffing her feet along the floor wondering about how to approach her betrothed without getting into an argument.

Rhaenyra was also walking down the halls, stumbling across her daughter. Rhaenyra knew Aelora never wanted to marry, she often saw herself in Aelora, never wanting to be sold off to a man, but wanting to marry for love, Rhaenyra patted her daughters shoulder, Aelora jumped as her saw it was just her mother.

"Aelora? You seem troubled with your thoughts."

"Is it that obvious?" She sighed.

Rhaenyra smiled and had a little giggle, Aelora wasn't so amused. Rhaenyra took her daughters arm gently, they both walked into her mothers chamber. Rhaenyra stood up looking down on her daughter hoping her daughter would open up to her.

Aelora looked at her mother with sorrow, she was trying her best not to let out a tear.

"Oh Aelora, you've just been named heir to the iron throne? I know you never wanted to be sold off, but Aemond will be a good consort-"

Aelora immediately cut off her mother in that moment. She didn't want to hear that name ever.

"Mother, I don't really want to hear of that brats name."

Rhaenyra giggled again, she loved seeing her daughter resemble herself.

"Aelora, you will have children one day, this discomfort is how we as women serve the realm."

The Princess frowned hearing the word children, Aelora was never the maternal type, she always found children annoying and never happy.

"I'd rather serve as a warrior and ride into battle and glory."

Rhaenyra smiled, as she remembered the conversations she had with Aemma.

" We have a Queens womb you and I, the childbed is our battle field, we must learn to face it. And one day you will face having Aemonds heirs."

"mother? I'm not like you, I'm not exactly motherly as you think I am." she sighed.

"neither was I when I was your age, I hated the thought of being sold off to a man. Me and your father had you very young, I was only 15, but having you and your brothers made me want to be a mother, someday you will feel the same with yourself and Aemond's children."

Aelora knew in that moment she had to speak with Aemond, her mother's words inspired her to get a grip in a way. The Princess grew a smile and gave her mother a cuddle, Rhaenyra comforted her daughter to make her see that sometimes you have to sacrifice your fears to make you happier.

Aelora let go of her mother's warm body, and headed down to Aemonds chamber. She took deep breaths and hesitated walking down the dim hallway, the candles were burning in Aelora's eyesight, she could see that her mind was telling her not to go, but her feeling in her heart was telling her otherwise.

On that night, Aelora headed down to her betrothals chamber. She hesitated knocking, she slowly forced her hand to knock. She entered the room looking around for the Prince.
