The night after Lord Hand Otto Hightower, spoke with his grandson Aemond on what Aelora has supposedly said about what she will do when she ascends the throne, Aemond takes his frustrations out during his training with Sir Criston.
Cole notices that something is troubling Aemond as the Prince hasn't stumbled or taken a break from his training, while Cole on the other hand is sweating from the head down. Aemond hasn't spoken to Aelora, it's like how it was days ago, he pretends she doesn't exist. This troubled and left Aelora confused, she thought they sorted out their differences.
She watched him train above on the castle wall, she was curious as to why he was ignoring her. Aelora decided to down to the training pit and speak with the Prince herself, until Princess Rhaenys caught up with her.
"Is something troubling you Aelora?" Rhaenys questioned.
"No, Princess." She sighed.
Rhaenys wasn't born yesterday, she knew exactly what was wrong with the Princess.
"Aelora, your mother is soft with you. She doesn't tell you how the world works."
Aelora became agitated with that sentence, she hated whenever someone insulted her mother's intelligence.
"She does tell me, thank you."
"Then does she tell you how men are?" Rhaenys questioned.
Aelora hesitated replying to the Princess, as her mother hasn't in fact spoken to her about men and their capabilities. However, Aelora knew which specific man Rhaenys was talking about.
