Shortly after Queen Aelora and Prince Aemond got themselves ready, they both made their way down to the Dragonstone beach, the winds were fast and the waves crashed against the rock pools, Aelora wore her traditional Targaryen colours, her crimson red cape over her fluffy white coat, the Queen also wore her mothers golden crown, she wanted Winterfell to know that she's more than just a girl who came across the sea to meet them.

Aemond on the other hand, did not wear anything fluffy, it seemed he had been to Winterfell before and knew what was expected, even so, the Prince wore his house colours to, he wore a black leather long sleeved jacket with his ebony trench coat over the top, Aemond often brought weapons everywhere he went, he always carried his Valyrian steel sword everywhere he went.

Both of them said goodbye to their fellow family members, Aelora gave her brothers and father one last hug and wave goodbye, Aemond watched his love say goodbye to her family, he knew it was hard for her, as the new Queen she had to take the responsibility seriously and couldn't afford to be sensitive to saying bye to her family. The Queen had a hand onto the boat with her armies and other men, her dragon Luna flew above the Queen, Aelora didn't want to go on dragon back, she knew that she couldn't use the dragons as a power move to make Winterfell bend the knee to her, her lover Prince Aemond, flew on Vhagar, Aemond wasn't one for sitting down on a boat, he wanted to show his power with his almighty conquerer dragon.

The sea crashed against the boat, Aelora felt unsteady and almost a bit nervous, she's never met Lord Stark, she didn't know what he was feeling about another woman being put on the throne, she'd hoped he would bend the knee to her without any queries. Sir Erryk often comforted the Queen, he was very loyal to her, and wanted to make sure she was okay.

"Your Grace? Do you feel green sick?"

Aelora turned to him, then turned back looking back at the waves.

"Sir Erryk, I have a question."

"Anything your grace." He replied.

"Do you think the realm will ever accept me as their Queen?"

Sir Erryk looked at the Queen with sorrow, he didn't want her to doubt her own abilities to rule the seven kingdoms.

"My Queen, you are everything the realm needs, your mother chose you for a reason. She wouldn't have done so if she thought you would destroy it."

Those words made Aelora smile, however, her smile slowly faded, she always wondered why her mother replaced Aemond with her, what did Rhaenyra see in Aemond that Aelora can't, the Queen fell for Aemond quicker than she fell for anyone else, she loved him more than anything, Aelora looked up at Vhagars shadow above the boat, she saw that even with all that power Aemond still had good within his dark heart.

Aelora, despite everything that happened with her an Aemond, it's almost like she was meant to burn with him, they were perfectly matched, it's almost like it was destiny. Aelora had a sudden rush of confidence, thinking about everything that's happened in her life, she knew she was meant to be Queen of the Seven Kingdoms, and she was determined to prove this to Lord Cregan Stark.

The sun beamed down on the boat as the minutes turned into hours, the Queen stayed on the ship looking out onto the ocean, Aemond stayed above the clouds on Vhagar, she hadn't seen him in a while, Aelora thoight he would've already arrived considering dragons are faster than boats.

Suddenly, Aelora saw an island across the horizon, this island was huge, it had no beaches nor sand dunes, or even cities, it was covered in a white blanket of snow, the change in the winds told her this was Winterfell, the temperature was colder than Dragonstone, colder than any place Aelora had been too, it sent shivers down her spine, she crossed her arms and was glad she wore her fluffy white coat with her.
