You walk with Levi as you follow Erwin through an empty hallway. Your heels click against the concrete, you and Levi both still in formal attire, Levi having had to change back, as we had been in the presence of the brass. We had learnt many things about our situation from Erwin's meeting, but despite how well it had gone, it did nothing to stop the fresh shock and unease that now clouded your mind. We had just learnt, mere moments ago, that a Titan had been found within the Wall Sina; that Walls may not be mere walls, but all of them stood as Titans. What's worse, Pastor Nick revealed he knew of the secret but, along with other Wallists, kept silent. You try to shake your thoughts off as you look to your left and see Levi with his usual grim expression on his face, facing forward. From the windows above him, warm light seeped through the glass. The sun was setting, making our skin glow with an orange hue. You think of the many events that have occurred today and throughout the past week. There are so many questions, but not enough answers.

Suddenly, you hear the ring of bells rise in the distance, slowly clanging as they echo ominously through the air into our ears. You freeze along with Levi and Erwin, the bells can only mean one thing. You meet Levi's eyes as you see them sharpen slightly before we turn to the sound of footsteps behind us, harsh and hasty. We see a Scout rushing to our side, face and movements frantic. "There are Titans inside Wall Rose!" Your heart jolts as you let their words sink in, all of our faces growing grim.

.....

Night befell Stohess district as you went into the confines of your temporary room, away from the bustle of Scouts rushing to prepare to leave for Wall Rose. You hear the door click as it shuts behind you before you make your way to your bed, taking off your heels. You let out a sigh of relief, your feet were killing you. You then stand barefoot before you walk to the mirror in the corner of the room and let your black dress fall to the floor. You look at your reflection in the mirror before your eyes travel down to your side. The skin had almost fully regenerated, having healed even more so than from this morning. You stretch upwards slightly and see that, unlike earlier, the fragility of your side reopening again is not too much of an issue; as though scarred and sore, your side remained intact. You decided against stretching any further, though, knowing it was too early to be too reckless. You wouldn't be surprised, though, if by this time tomorrow, you would be able to engage in combat.

You wonder how Levi would react to that. Unlike you, his leg still posed an obstacle that would prevent him from going into battle for likely a few more weeks. Despite his help earlier today in saving Eren from being fused with the crystalline substance Annie is encased in now, it would be more dangerous to have him on the frontlines than off. You shake away your thoughts as you reach for the spare clothes left beside the mirror. You quickly put on a pair of dark green pants and a white button-up shirt. You put on your Scout jacket, feeling a lot more comfortable back in casual clothes. Just as you reach for a pair of boots, you hear the door click open, but you don't turn as you finish putting them on, figuring it's just Levi. He informed you just moments ago he had to meet with Erwin quickly but would come and get you soon, muttering something about how the damn Titans won't leave us alone. "Levi, you're earl-" but before you can finish, a tight grip takes hold on one of your wrists.

You turn at the harsh hold, but instead of Levi's bored grey eyes, you are met with two military police, faces flushed. They were drunk. You are slightly taken aback, and your eyes widen before you force the first man's hand off of you. "What do you think you're doing," you scowl as the red-faced man and his companion slightly step back from your forceful action but remain unfazed under the influence of alcohol. You look at their faces, recognising them slightly. They were highly ranked in the military police, remembering back to their presence in Erwin's meeting. "Come on, sweetheart," the second man slurs, "you should be glad we're here." You pull a face disgusted by the men, their eyes full of lust. "We just want some compensation, ya know," the first man now looks at you, stepping closer as you see his face darken with malicious intent. "The Survey Corps got away with a lot recently; we feel ought to be paid back for our generosity." The second man now approached, hand reaching out to touch your face, "Hey angel, you wouldn't mind doing that for us, would ya?"
