Prologue

This story takes place on a parallel earth, where the dominant species is a race of different anthropomorphic animals called Mobians, and where magic and science co-exist. The most powerful artifacts of the planet was the Master Emerald, a gem that has the power to turn thoughts into reality, but it has been lost for centuries. There was was another powerful energy source, known as power rings, which are like golden rings that contains the same energy as the Master Emerald, though not as powerful. There are of course humans on the planet too, though the Mobians call them by another name, which was the word 'Overlanders'. Of course the Mobians don't have a strong relationship with the Overlanders, as most of them wanted to control all of the planet and force the Mobians to do their work like how the Egyptians treated their slaves. So the great war between the Mobians and Overlanders happened, and the war would have ended badly for the Mobians, if they didn't gained an ally out of an Overlander named Julian Robotnik and his nephew, Snively Robotnik, who gave them the tech they needed to defeat the Overlanders once and for all. There was another alley in the form of a troll named Ixis Naugus, who uses powerful magic to aid the Mobians win the war. Together, Robotnik and Naugus managed to invent an interesting device, which can turn organic bodies into machines to help the elderly live longer, called the Roboticizer. However, there was one flaw in the Roboticizer, once it turns an individual into a machine, they lose their free will. But it didn't matter, for both Robotnik and Naugus plans to use the device for their own evil agenda. It turns out that Robotnik only aided the Mobians so that he can take over the planet for himself. It turns out that Naugus had plans to take over Mobius as well, but before he could make his move, Robotnik banished the troll to a crystallized dimension called the Void. Robotnik used his army of S.W.A.T. bots to take over the Acorn kingdom, and used the Roboticizer to turn the Mobians into Robotnik slaves to do the evil doctor's bidding. Only a handful of young Mobians managed to escape from such a fate, a young blue Mobian hedgehog named Sonic, a pink Mobian hedgehog girl named Amy Rose, a red Mobian echidna named Knuckles, a Mobian rabbit girl named Bunnie, and a baby Mobian fox named Miles Prowler, or sometimes Tails for he was born with an extra tail. The young Mobians went to a secret hidden village known as Knothole, where they begin training themselves to become freedom fighters in hopes to reclaim their home world in the future as the years went by. Little did the freedom fighters knew that they will have more help in the future as well, in the form of two plumbers who were unaware of the heroes they will become, and that's where this story begins.
